In any cases. Where it is. 'what is this trying to tell me' it is you its conekting to.
Its you that no 'what one thing Mean to you. To someone els. It might mean somthing els. Only you can tell what the "signs" shown to you means. Theyr made for your eyes.
The only thing others (like we in here) can do. Is to maybe help you to realize what you se.

For some wather means drowning or somthing. A nother it's salvation. (like if your in the desert) and a third. Maybe some kind of both.

Spirit Guides are beings that come to a person and usually is usually with that person from time of birth to time of death. Mostly a humanoid in appearance they are there to guide us through our life and protect us also. You can probably call them guardian angels etc. Spirit Animals I view as being an animal spirit that you are born to and represents your own soul and how your energy is and how you act. Spirit Animals are also with us untill we die. Animal Totems are animal teachers that come to us and leave us through different times of our lives. Most people have a few animal totems that stay with them always and then you also have som that come and go with situations as they appear in your life.
For example you have a lot of people around you who are spreading lies and you are searching for a totem or the totem animal searches you out. A Ferret shows up and you have this strong connection with it. You feel after contemplating and meditating that this Ferret is a totem animal of yours. One thing the Ferret will teach you is how to ferret out information. Once as this situation completly passes and you learn your lesson then it moves on. Anon it's hard to say what the dinosaur can teach you, but as Aelwyn and them states you will have to ask it yourself. Usually with a toem animal one studies the characteristics of that animal. The way it acts, it's enviroment, it's predators and preys, all of it. Being a water being it might be something that will help you in the emotional realm. Being a prehisoric animal it might be helping you get in touch with a primal energy within yourself on an emotional level. Good luck and keep me posted on what you find out. I meditated more and found that a phoenix is my totem animal too. And also a HUGE dog like being with scales not fur and beast like face, also a tail, like my other dragon totem has.
The huge half dog like creature with scales and long tail said that his name is Crimer and he is to warn me about... but he disappeared before he could say it.
Sorry but I have to say I don't think they're totem animals, as Shadow explained the definition here is indeed the one I understand from my experience and it just doesn't seem right to me, I mean three very unique totem animals appearing all at once to one person seems somewhat unlikely to me. Spirit guides, perhaps, subconscious manifestations, perhaps, dreams, perhaps, mental projections are even (a very unlikely) possibility but at least in accordance with my understanding of them, totem animals, I really don't think so. Just my personal opinion there.

The fantasy or mythical totem animal is just as real as any other animal as far as symbols are concerned. We grow up with wondrous stories of these creatures and they live in our consciousness.
Many people (and not just children) do in fact dream of dragons or unicorns and such. So, if you are lucky enough to be one of them, be sure to take it as a powerful message!

Oh , I'm still here, I'm not saying that they can't exist as totem animals I'm just saying I doubt that three (well of any but you have to admit somewhat rarer totems) would all appear at once for the first time to the person which is why I think it worth exploring other possibilities aswel
Anon that is what I picked up which is funny that you stated that. I am with Brishen though with his statement. I think the first creature you brought up can be your totem, but I also question the other's. It was never said they can't be your totem it's just that so amny mythological creatures showing up all at once wouldn't be a totem. A mythological or primal creature would be like a unique totem and not a lot of people get them as totems. To get one can happen, but the others might be something different even your imagination. I never heard of totems showing up so fast in all of my studies. One will show up then a month or so another will show up.
