Cancer cure,Selenium

I have experience and find this totally insane to think you should take something in large doses that can actually speed up the illness and cause harm to organs, how good of an idea is it to destroy your liver or kidneys when your dying, that speeds up death and causes further harm & pain.

This is a magic site, this is other spells dicussion and as far as I can see this thread has nothing to do with spells, its simply a thread that says this might cure cancer but there is no evidence, however it will destroy your liver but its a small price to pay.

Well, actually as my childhood best friend died of bone cancer at 17 and I myself now work in a hospice for those with terminal cancer, I think I do have some idea. That is irrelevant however, my point is that sodium selenite is carcinogenic and toxic. Taking this drug is probable to shorten the expectancy of the patient, and less time with your loved one is most definitely something lost.

I read an article a while back about a research study done in the 1970's. I think in the UK. They used a bunch of patients in a hospital that had terminal diseases and needed pain medications (morphine) to ease their suffering. In the study, they were given vitamin C intravenously. Not only did it work better to rid them of their pain than morphine, but it also made some of their diseases (I can't remember if all were cancer or what, I just remember that they were terminal) go into remission, some still alive 5 years later.
