And what is so strange about becoming a God... seriously, why should that be any more strange than proffessing to use magic? You claim that i sound like a (nut-job) but the vast majority of Humanity would consider everyone on this site as nut-jobs. We who belive in magic are a minority and most people think that we are eccentric fools at best or heretics at worst. You call me crazy but most people would say that you are preaching to the choir.
Furthermore, i do not expect to be able to catalog every spirit, i wish only to construct a tome with as many as possible so as to give prospective summoners the ability to start practicing early without having to spend weeks finding each individual spirit. And i do know that summoning is dangerous, i have not done a single ritual simply because there have been no problems of sufficient magnitude to warrent the use of such power.
If you read up on Satanism you will find that the whole point is becoming a God. True, not all Satanist belive in becoming a God in the physical sense but almost all belive in either becoming a god or worship themselves as Gods albeit without all the special powers. Theistic Satanism's goal is to become a God in the true sense of the word; an immortal being of great power. Athiestic Satanism's goal is the same only you become a god in the sense that you direct your life as you wish and create your own destiny much as a God might only you are not immortal.
I do not understand how all of this is any stranger than the rest of this site?
Ok, obviously you have no
idea whatsoever on evocation. I highly doubt you have thououghly read the goetia because this is just stupid. I have been a practitioner of high magic for thirty years and many of my closest friends are high ranking member of offshoots of the hermetic order of the golden dawn. I have worked with many of the demons in the goetia. You are a child. Evocation is not for the easily fooled such as you. My recommendation is that you wait unroll you are full grown. Then start. I some books I suggest reading are Summoning Spirits by Konstantinos, and The practice of magical evocation by Franz Bardon.
I am not a child... i do not know why you think i am.
As for the goetia, i have read the whole book and have a good understanding of what those spirits can offer. You claim that summoning is dangerous and indeed it may well be but only if you go about it the wrong way. The traditional method of summoning is infact the problem and it is the use of this method that causes much of the antipathy toward summoners.
The traditional method uses force and threats to compel spirits to obey the summoner and uses magic to punish the spirit if it does not do as it is told. The spirit is ripped away from whatever spiritual realm it inhabits and forced to do the bidding of humans with no compensation whatsoever. The spirit is treated harshly and given no respect; it is treated like filth and is held in contempt by the summoner. The traditional method of summoning is nothing less then forced slavery and is it any wonder then why most spirits arrive angry and try to harm those who called them.
Spirits are sentient, intelligent beings and should be given the respect that status demands; if people like you high mages were not always forcing them to serve as slaves maybe the spirits would not be trying to harm you. Those who practice the traditional method of summoning deserve all the suffering they get; let his be a warning: If you try to force yourself upon others mortal or immortal you will eventually pay the price.
No one likes being a slave so either start using more respectful methods or expect to be punished. Treat intelligent beings with respect and pay them to serve and you can make powerful allies.
Also... i said i have studied spirits, i did not say that i have actually summoned any. Currently i do not have the resources or time to peform such powerful magic and i certainly would not know how to go about it. If people on this site think i am claiming to be a powerful summoner then i say right now that i am not. I am but a student, i have yet to cast a single spell so if i have come across as sounding like i am claiming to be an expert i apologise.
And i have read Konstantino's Summoning Spirits... that is where i got the nature and elemental spirits which are included in my tome. A good book really, though unfortunately espousing the traditional view of summoning which i have shown to be in error. That and the many tools and devices needed for his rituals. Other than that though it was an ejoyable read.

and i see that you are doing that!
just keep on learning know that knowledge is power!
i my self have been studying a lot about demonolatry!
but still i don't know that much!
You would'nt happen to have info on any demons beyond the Goetia? I know there are many many more but finding info on them is proving to be a herculean task. I have hit a road-block and can't seem to find any more.
