Heh... there is no universal law nor innate human rights, those who belive in such foolish concepts are laughably naive and will end up as prey for those who understand the TRUE natural order... which is survival of the fittest. There is no good, there is only power and those with the stones to use it. When the true master of the universe takes control these childish notions will be erased from existance... and good riddence to them! I actually have to agree with invoker in this case, however I would like to add to it.
In my opinion, the only laws that should bind you are your own. Just think about that. I personally do not want to enslave; maybe convince, but servitude doesn't hold with MY rules. I seriously doubt there is some universal karma. We govern ourselves, unless of course we conform with society which I REALY don't recommend.
My veiw is not nonsensicle... it is the true nature of reality and those too stupid to accept this deserve all the pain and suffering that they get. You can spout off your nonexistant suger-coated veiw of the universe all you want but it changes nothing, the universe is the way it is and it cannot be changed. If you cannot accept this despite the overwhelming evidence which supports it then you are doomed... accept it as i have done and you shall free yourself from the shackles of ignorance and be able to take your place at the top of the food-chain. Continue to espouse idiotic concepts like ethics and morality and you will get what is coming to you... i can not stress this enough, change your ways or you WILL end up as prey!
Morals aren't completely useless. In face, they can often be used to your advantage. Morals create social bonds, not something I normally value much, but in bad circumstances, if you can rely on others' morals and they can rely on yours, and you will have safety in numbers. It all depends on the situation.
I am not a bully and i do not want people to fear me... just because i belive in these concepts does not mean that i am actively out to harm others. If people wish to hang with me that is their choice; no one is forcing them and they have no reason to be afraid of me. Only my enemies need fear me, i bear no ill will toward the vast majority of people; you seem to think that i am out to spread pain and suffering... i am not, and it is pretty presumtous of you to make that insinuation. The people who hang with me do so becuase they either agree with my views or at least find them somewhat interesting. Nowhere in any of my posts did i ever threaten or rough up anyone... you are slandering me and i would ask you to cease. You don't agree with me... i get that, this is America so we don't have to agree but i will not tolerate being harrassed because you think me evil. Don't criticize my beliefs and i won't yours, but i wish to hear no more of this futile philosophical debate; neither of us can win and keeping this conversation going is a waste of time for both of us. Let this pointless arguement end.
