I agree with Awake, - age isn't the cause of fluffiness. I see little wisdom in teachers complaining that people need to be taught. Reality checking is a huge component in teaching magick. Are we supposed to only share our wisdom with the wise?

Raven's idea for a Ranting Room appeals to me. We have one in our coven and it works a treat.

Children in EVERY sector of learning tend to think that anything is possible. This is why they go through education. :)

I agree with Ra3ven 100%. I started using magick when i was 14 and i was never and am not now a roleplayer. Kids do not need punished. They need guidence and all the rp's should be banned.

And I agree with the last four posts.

I don't think we should ban people under eighteen. Some people, come here for a purpose and for some the only way they can practice the craft is through this site because of parents who would either get mad at them or don't believe in their religion, All I'm saying, is we would lose a lot of members if we get rid of teenagers.

in my opinion I think people of all ages should have access to this site has interesting things and I think that's a bit of prejudice just leave people with more than 18 years entering this site, we all have a right to this knowledge: magic

I tend to agree. I think a good step toward harmony would be a place where people could speak of newer concepts, kinetics, and otherwise discuss such topics that they very much might believe to be real but others might consider roleplay (lighting, balls of fire, etc.)

A similar location for those who practice darker arts, or even wish to cast love spells and such without being informed of the negatives every time would be useful.

However, as far as the IP ban goes, that option does exist but is typically used in the circumstance of multiple, continued offenses by the same IP address.

At least this is my understanding of the situation. For my part, I'll mention it to the mods and such and see what we can do - though I'm certain most of them have been glancing at this thread.
