We're talking about one of the defining statements of your original post and the only thing on your website. How is this off topic?
If your goal really is to promote goodwill and tolerance then why not explain what NeoWicca is? I can't be tolerant toward a thing I know nothing about and, moreover, there were a lot of other traditions you could have listed instead. I know it's not a full list, but I assume the fact that you chose to mention NeoWicca over Hermeticism, Satanism, or chaos magick indicates that NeoWicca is more relevant or primary within your Order. I therefore really wish to understand what exactly NeoWicca is so that I can have a better grasp of what kinds of teachers (and therefore subjects) you are aiming for.

i think also a change of name might be a good idea...the order of the phoenix is from Harry potter, and it gives the impression of make believe. Let JK Rowlings keep that for her potter series and come up with your own creation for your coven
Why do you think the coven's name is so bad?
He used a name from the book 'harry potter' and i don't think it is a bad thing, because it is not an actual group...
He is the one who have chosen the name, and it will be ok if he will change it but if not it will be ok too.
But it do agree that the name is a bit childish...
The problem is that a certain number of serious practitioners will look at it and go, "Ew, it's full of role-playing children," and a certain number of role-playing idiots will look at it and go, "Yay! Other real Wizards like myself! I should join and see if anyone else there is a werewolf!"
Companies and business will actually pay experts to come up with their name and logo just because they are so important to how people will respond. You might say that the problem is with us for not giving you a fair chance. That way of looking at things, however, does't leave room for the fact that there are thousands upon thousands of magick sites and a magician must already do a tremendous amount of study. We simply do not have the time to so deeply examine every single site and book and order out there - we're going to need to just skip right past a lot of books and sites, so if you want our attention you need to grab it.

Name suggestion: Fly of the Phoenix
Name means nothing as our names don't tell anything out us too, what is more important what is inside. Non of us can judge on something without know what is it. But its only my opinion.
Thank you, LadyNafrah, that's a good name suggestion. I'm going to consider changing it. But I'm also going to say something. The intent of this advertisement thread was merely to raise awareness for this coven. Honestly, I don't see why I have to change the name. If the name isn't good enough for you, then obviously it's not right for you. I respect the opinions of everyone here, but really, I thought the purpose of SoM was tolerance and goodwill, not judgement and ridicule. And as far as why I listed the Paths that I did, I just picked out a bunch of Path/Traditions/Belief systems, etc. and threw them down there. The listing of one, or lack of listing of another does not in any way make the ones that were listed any more prevalent, important, or better than any other path. Thank you very much for letting me have my bit. Like I said, I will consider changing the name, but do not make any promises. Thank you.

Just a note to those who might be considering the idea of joining this coven; LordofFire5 is marked as fluffy and I witnessed them in the public chat claiming to have 25 apprentices just before they wanted to know how to control a vision. One would think that if a person has this many apprentices that they would already know how to handle such a common phenomenon.
Please be very careful when considering what coven to join and who will be teaching you. There are a lot of role players out there that claim to be many things they are not.

Very well said kts and its so true, before anyone enjoy a coven need to use some common sense and gain some information about it especially the genuinity of the teachers.
