summoning shinigami

Sure, people get crazy ideas from watching anime. But there's a hint of truth to every story. The legend of the shinigami comes from Japan. They are like the japanese version of the grim reaper. So yes, they could exist. But it's all a matter of perspective. Some may believe what others may not. But it doesn't change anything. It's not like one is just going to appear on your front door and be ready for an adventure. No, this is where reality comes in. The only time you are likely to meet a shinigami/grim reaper is when you're about to die or when you're already dead.

Shinigami is the Japanese word for god of death... and no, everyone else, I did not learn that from an anime. lol

What if it was characters from Black butler? That would be most interesting.....

What I think you should do is contact things that are good and give life instead, the more life you give and see you shall have more life, but if you must summon a spirit of death I suggest the hindu god Yama, or the vampiric goddess kali ma, I believe that's what it's called, I could be mistaken I am trying to recall it from memory, but kamli ma or kami ma is able to drain energy from a person much like a psychic vampire draining the life out of someone. You could also summon the mistress of vampires, she is also a goddess but most people do not know the name of the vampiress she's often referred to as the mistress of vampyrs, she is also a psychic vampire god that feeds on humans. Also I suggest summoning the angel of death Samael, he's the arch angel of death, another angel of death, the five angels with each of the five knives of death, also another angel of death satan or the devil he is here to bring robbing, killling, stealing, and destroying. So any of these would be good for death. or death himself. But I highly suggest life instead of death. Death can have the three fold law or seven fold law, the equal or greater value law, the karma law, or what comes around goes around law. So I suggest life and good things, but do whatever you desire. Blessed be!

Shinigami are a Japanese version of the Grim Reaper, imported from western mythology. I do not know of the Reaper exists, I have never encountered such a being, even when I astral project to the afterlife. If you are still interested, the general term for a being that takes your soul to the afterlife is psychopomp. In my experience souls are capable of finding their own way, but I wouldn't doubt the existance of an angel that handles those who don't. I have met with angels before and they are very benevolent, but there is some information they will not share. You are still welcome to try, however.

Lol rereading old posts are funny and embarrassing. [But on the upside I can see I've grown] first old post why? Second a shinigami is a being from Japanese mythology. If you believe in them you can summon them, but if you've watched an anime and think it would be cool, please research shinigami beforehand because anime is entertainment not fact. It's also incredibly unlikely you can write a name or tell a deity/shinigami to kill someone and poof they die.

@ kros what proof is there you are being stalked by a Japanese 'grim reaper' and not a spirit, demon, or very sneaky cat? Just cleanse and protect.

My bad. Not being that familiar with Japanese mythology I thought this whole thing was derived entirely from fiction.

My general frustration with the reasoning (or lack thereof) remains however.
