charge as in charging grounding. you don;t have to cast a circle, and 'centering' doesn't really factor in in my opinion.

not like in dragon ball, that's similar to making a psi ball what you're referring to. it's similar, however you charge with energy, do it, but just let the energy enter your body, don't channel it into something as you would for a spell, or ground it like you would after, you're storing up some energy, recharging your batteries if you were. you should ground energy, but when you've been drained, chagrining without grounding is fine.
