Possession isn't a long term prospect. Most spirits whom will attempt such things are weak, feeding on the fears of the individual to give them their strength.
Possession takes Far more then the spirit receives, and as a practical solution to death is ultimately Impractical. You would need a true merging of spirits, or an ousting of the existing soul. Both of which, Should not be possible.
What it boils down to is the people who can, do. And the people who do, don't tell. Why? Because most things come with a price, and for many the price is Silence.
People whom expect the Universe to sit up and roll over meekly are as bad as the people they disagree with.

seriously so many people on this site say they believe in magic but it's hard to believe them when they are so narrow minded about magic, But magic's not for the narrow minded because magic is for imagination, creativity, nature and so many things that science can't explain. In the time of the Druids, Jesus, And so on, alto of this was possible but these days most people have a little thing in them saying that "this magic spell won't work" or "magic's not real" and only by defeating that little thing in us can we start to properly understand magic.
The eyecolor is possible, and physical changes are too as long as they aren't unrealistic and occur over time with continuious use of the spell, and elemental and kinesis are possible in a manner, but it is not done through spell work and takes ALOT of time and effort, and shapeshifting is possible on the astral plane, but not on ours, it is also not a spell

i agree with the part that states becoming anything non-human or mythological but i disagree with it all being fake or folklore these thing did not manifest in ones mind they had to exist at one point in time. and as far as thing controlled by the mind, anything is possible if you will it strong enough
Magick must always work alongside science and the universe and stuff that isn't possible in those isn't possible here
Don't you think if 'you try hard enough' or 'if you believe in yourself' worked then people would be doing this stuff all over the world? As mean as it sounds a lot of people need to grow up and get a reality check
You can't break the most basic laws of nature such as death or basic human DNA because both of those are absolute and can't be defyed by any means and if they are ever possible it will be done with medical science
As far as the other stuff goes they do break the laws of physics which again can't be defyed such as gravity and they're called laws of physics for a reason
