Quantum jumping

There was a book released recently by the creator of the idea;
Quantum Jumping: The Inter-dimensional Quest for a Better You by Burt Goldman.

It isn't written by a scientist though. Nor associated with science. It is a philosophy and researched meditative practice that looks to be built from a combination of other traditions to focus on ideas similar to astral projection, Higher Self communication, connecting to the Akashic records, Past-life/Paralell life exploration, and Self-realization through intentional manifestation.

Quantum jumping would have to be somehow jumping into an alternate reality with an awesome time machine like Dr. Who. I so wanted to be a Companion.

I was already preparing my needles to burst so many bubbles but it's not necessary anymore.
Yeah, basically I'm on 2nd year of Chemistry and I'm studying quantum physics. The quantum jump is not even that mystical trip, it's simply what an electron does when excited. Experiments have proved that a particle subjected to a particular potential may only have discrete energy levels. If the electron spins around an atom (as in most cases does), this results in the orbital theory. Orbitals are like layers where you have the maximum probability to find electrons with a particular energy level, and the quantum jump is the action the electron takes moving from one layer to the next, because of its energy increase being higher than the difference in those two orbitals' energy levels.
The quantum leap idea is incorrect because it tries to use quantum theory to a macro scale, where actually many quantum effects (like Tunnel effect) cease to be of any relevance.
