The problem with your statement shaman is that you are presupposing two things without evidence

1) That there is a divine creator which actually exists.
2) That magick can harm other people, and that all bad occurences from casting spells are not just coincidence.

There is no evidence to support these claims. Experience is not evidence, it is very subjective and we cannot truly know what you experienced, when you experienced, how susceptible you were to self-delusion or false memory and any emotional or physical issues which may alter your perception. All of which are reasons to keep a proper record.

Hadit has a point. As a physics student, I have learned firsthand just how little objectivity there is in my belief in magic. My personal experiences have convinced me that it exists, but I can never prove that it does. I have always found magic to be inherently subjective, and faith an absolute necessity. While Noetic Science gives me hope that magic will one day be rationalized, at this time I've sought to find a balance between subjectivity and objectivity. To reject facts would only disadvantage myself and lead to more ignorance, but to have no faith in anything would make me no more human than a book.

It's important for all of us, both scientists and magicians, to recognize and correct our biases and pursue greater knowledge and understanding. I feel like scientists too often reject ideas simply for not being materialist, but magicians need to realize that they don't have all the answers either. The simple fact is that magic is something we don't entirely understand, I think it's appropriate to compare it to a religion. And like a religion, blind faith is never a good thing. Science caught on in the first place because it worked, and it has only done good for the human race to be committed to objective knowledge. Your beliefs belong to you, you do not belong to them.

If you dont know you have wronged someone then you remain innocent to a degree. To the lesser degree, eventualy you will find out the consequences without your life being completely destroyed, depending on the severity of the wrong doing and the wrongs done to you. Once you are concious and know full and well, without doubt, the consequences of your actions and how to not be victimized, but proceed anyway, innocence is lost. But that doesnt mean all is lost. If we become aware that we have messed up we have the ability to fix it or make it better or prolong the consequences so that we are more ready to accept them if they are unavoidable.

Magick is science both undiscovered and discovered. It is both the known and unknown of Nature. It is the mind, emotions, thoughts, perceptions, and realities of the world. We only see through one set of eyes from one perspective. The world, for instance looks far different from the eyes of a bird that sees ultraviolet light. So their world glows like living under a perpetual black light. Magick is knowing what exists without exactly knowing how it exists. While science must have exact answers, magick only requires the proof that it works. What works we go with!
