Whichever the case, its an excuse to have freedom. I know it sounds hard to do. If you think you can fix it, stay but dont allow yourself to be persecuted because of his behavior or insecurities. Most people will never admit to cheating but will always say that you are. If he really wants to get over it, he will show it with his actions instead of words.
