Wrong way of technique???

I have to agree with everyone else and say that maybe you need to practice more.
It took me two years to separate my astral body from my physical body ( that was a mistake though because the time I did it, I didn't mean too, long story )
Ever since that one time, I've been able to recall the feeling and slip into the realm regularly.
Try visualizing more often.
