Re: Summon Lucifer With Old.. By: Nekoshema / Novice

This post is 6 years old [5 years since the last comment] so you should have started a new topic instead of resurrecting a dead thread [honestly, what's up with this recent trend? It's nice to see old posts and users but still]
Anyway, regarding your comment, I don't see it as wrong. Plenty of people work with a variety of deities. Many people have specific spirits [astral beings and deities included] who have watched over them since they were young [my God has been with me since I was a kid, but he didn't make himself known to me until 2020 because I wasn't ready to work with him]
I watch people who work with Lucifer, and even someone who's godspoused with him [I'm not opening that can of worms. To define godspouse, it's someone who a deity has asked to be in a romantic relationship with. I'm not arguing the validity of it, moving on] and he seems to be a pretty nice deity to work with. People think he's scary for the same reason most death gods and dark goddesses are seen as "scary" the things Lucifer is associated with isn't "love and light" so society views him as evil [also doesn't help he's a fallen angel from the bible] But from my understanding, Lucifer cares about humanity, speaks logic [maybe don't kill your son just because God said so?] and wants to help you gain confidence and a deeper understanding of yourself.
Some prayers to him do use the term father, but I wouldn't introduce yourself with "hi father, I'm VANISSAPUEBL." Instead, research him and his followers to understand him better and how one worships Lucifer, then set up an altar if possible [it can be temporary, covert, or go for a walk and set something up on a rock or stump while you worship then clean up and go home. Astral altars are also a thing. If a permanent altar isn't possible, there are plenty of other options. If you have a snake, you could speak with Lucifer while tending to your pet. You can also say a prayer before bed and ask him to meet you in the dreamscape. Same with meditation] When you're ready to contact him, introduce yourself and why you feel drawn to work with him. Then ask if he's interested in working with you and wait for an answer. The answer could be instant [a feeling, sound, maybe he appears before you] or it could take a while. Be observant, keep a journal, and give it about a month. If you don't receive an answer, take it as a no. Thank him, and move on for now [you can always ask in a few years when you've advanced on your path] You'll know when you receive an answer because it'll feel like a lightbulb moment [unless he appears in your meditation or dreams, that's a pretty clear answer] you might be walking along and feel someone with you, you might hear a voice, see repeating patterns, there are tons of possibilities, just be open. As you progress on your path with Lucifer, you might start calling him father as a sign of respect, or your relationship might develop into something like a father figure guiding you.
One thing I should warn you about [especially since I brought up godspouse] it's common to misinterpret a deities love for us as romantic. Our deities love us unconditionally. While some might be harsher than others, most of us haven't felt this type of unconditional love. Suddenly, there's someone in your corner comforting you when you stumble, cheering you on when you succeed. They're easy to talk to, you feel safe and secure around them, and they watch over you as best as they can [life has ups and downs, but they'll catch you if you fall] Many people might assume this is romantic love and start to assume they have a special bond with their deity. While we each have a unique bond with our deities, this doesn't mean your deity is in love with you. [I'm saying this because I went through it myself once and it wasn't until I saw a video talking about it I realized what was going on] And swinging back to godspouse for a second, the deity approaches you, not the other way around [it's considered disrespectful if you ask] but if a deity asks, you can say no. You should also take time to reflect on this lifelong commitment [which is deeper than devotion] and above all, make certain this is the deity in question and not a trickster spirit [as I said, real godspousal is rare, so if you introduce yourself to Lucifer and you get back "hi, nice to meet you, marry me" or a proposal in a short timeframe, the odds are pretty great this isn't Lucifer and you should back away]
Anyway, if you've connected with him throughout your life, I feel you should be able to contact him pretty easily and start working with him. I would just do your research so you not only know more about Lucifer and his worship but also to test any spirit claiming to be him [spirits have been known to pretend to be deities or other guiding spirits. Other deities have even been known to pretend to be a specific deity so they can work with you, so it's best to do your homework] Also reflect on your life until now. You might notice patterns you missed that link you to Lucifer.
