This storm is really serious. My friend lives in Plattsburgh and she's getting affected by it too. Not as bad as us but still dangerous.

Thanks for bringing this up. Hurricane Sandy is currently a Catagory 1 Hurricane. All we need do is make sure that we are safe as well as our families. The wind is harsh and the true storm is not even here yet. I live in Queens and I can say that there are many trees on the block where I live. I hope they don't fall down and cause power outages. Be safe, all of you.

There were three deaths in my area that had to do with falling trees. I feel so sorry for their grieving families.

I live in Virginia and We haven't gotten the worst of it yet I go to a private Christian school and their closed and so are the public schools

This storm is very bad...I don't know if you all know this...but as I am of very strict top knowlage, this storm is being called the perfect storm for a reson. It did not start in this place. It is rather from another realm so to say...

I'm on the east coast, but where I am, all we got was wind and rain. And cancelled classes for the one sunny day all week. >.<

My friends in Massachusetts lost power for 12 hours though.

My thoughts as well, are with everyone effected by the storm.
