I'm Valorica, I'm seventeen. I was learning gypsy magic from my mother. But she died before I learned much, so I was hoping I could learn more about it from you guys. I was able to learn some spells from the early and mid 1800s, and a few from the late 1700s. I haven't been on SoM for really long. I'm limited to the spells I can do, Because I live with my grandmother, and she believed that all magic is evil, so I have to do it all in secret, sadly...

Greetings to all, and thanks for allowing me to join. My name is Lisa. I have moderate experience as far as practicing goes, but, like my mother and her mother before her...we see/saw/had some control over future events. My family actually migrated as Albanian gypsies in late 1800s. I have a Masters in English with a focus on archetypes and spirituality, as well as the strength of ritual and symbol in society.
I also, after realizing there is no safety net for those who fall...I was almost murdered in 2012, and my friends and family acted as if I had thrust the knife into my body myself...I tried shelters, womens' facilities, etc. Being the truly independent and, at times, withdrawn because of deep thought, person that I am, I took off with my now ex and lived in a tent, urban camping for 14 months. So, I guess I was/am truly a gypsy.
As for the site? I've used it off and on for a spell or information here and there, but am just now joining.
As far as what I will contribute? I will try to contribute whatever it is any fellow member or the coven as a whole needs.
Alasen Sage D. Melody is my nickname. My family raised me with Romani traditions such as belly dancing, music and tarot reading. Nature magick is a strong influence in my household and my mama and I tend to chant in Romanian while spell casting. I wish to join because ‘gypsy’ magick is a large part of my life. I only joined recently because I’m a teen and until now I only practiced with my family but now I wish to expand my knowledge and gain experiences by meeting new people. I’m trying to learn different types of divination like crystal balls (have one in the mail) and spirit guides.
