Not necessarily Birdseed, that's like saying all birds make messy and terrible house-pets. Although usually messy, they can occasionally be fun to be around, and a joy to care for. Some people work well with spirits, and welcome them into their life, though like a lot of things, you hear the bad side to it more than the good side. Sure you might have personal experience with these beings, but in reality, you are you, not multiple people.
So one's experience can be completely different than anothers. I find that if you keep a friendly, open mind, it is easy to set boundries and communicate with spirit beings, but always be calm and approach them gently. You wouldn't yell at a human to understand them or compramise with them, you would carefully talk it out, in a loving fashion.
Same goes with spirits, be open, be willing, be loving, and you have done your job!
Just remember that YOU are always in control. Never let Rori control your actions through his temper. Let him know that you will only pay attention to him when he is respectful and minds his manners. Definitely keep a clean, positive space around you.
Spirits are almost exactly like people if it were not for the fact we can not touch one another without AP. I agree. Do not start a realationship with them just like you would not start a realationship with a possessive boy friend. I think you need to have a real talk with them. Tell them how you feel. Though this has becombe more of realationship advice than magical advice and i do not give very good realationship advice so dont take this too seriusly.
Spirts are cool and stuff, as a kid would say. But its best if you part with it when the bond is not too strong. Once the bound is stable it will star to cause trouble for you. As spirits they focus on only few emotions, but are stronly grounded to them. But once they start clinging on to someone they will take on the the hidden emotion of the person. usually the side that is hidden form the person, or the side in the Subcounscious mind. When they do they will become unstable and unpredictable with their actions and because they are energy and has no vessle, it will lead to bad consequences. As for your problem, it could be that the sprit has been with you for a long time and has now become more then your friend it may think that its your other mate as to say. So now it may be too late. Also it is now over the limit of what I know.
Here's what I would suggest, do not get too connected with a spirit, relationship wise, or you will overinduldge in it. Keep your senses alert, do nt let your gaurd down for a second, and do not bite off more than you can chew.

Rori's normal again. i talked with him, and things are fine. little worried because i'm movie he'll stay at the old house, but he follows me everwhere, so it shouldn't be a problem. i have 3 other friends who all have spirits with them. he's not a fan of them. it's rather funny hearing him call a spirit a perve. [quick side note, 2 of my 3 friends have rather forsitive spirits attached to them, one has undressed female friends in their sleep if they're at my friends house] anyway, my point is thanks for the advise, really helpful, but Rori's back to his old self, and there's no need for concern. thanks again ^_^
It sounds like Rori wishes to feed off your energies which he can and will do if you encourage sex. I recently read a book which dealt with this sort of thing. The next time you see Rori you tell him that you can and will banish him if he does not comply with your wishes and become friendly if he is unfriendly again, trace a pentagram in the air visualise it growing and glowing a bright blue colour and point into it whilst saying "In the name of insert god name I banish you from my life" then see the pentagram hitting him hard until he dissapates. If this does not work find out how to draw his sigil by using a magic square and draw it show it to him say the same as before then burn it.
If you are just pretending (which I don't believe you are) shame on you! Theres lots of people who genuinely do have this sort of problem, it's the same as with people, if someone begins pestering you for a relationship and you don't want one I would call them a stalker and make sure they are removed from my life think of the above as magickal restraining orders you will not be destroying rori just removing his inhealthy influence from your life.
i'll right down that banishing thing, thanks for that. but as i stated, problem gone, everythings normal. we talked, he didn't say why he was acting strange, he just went away for a while and came back a week later, said he hopes i'll still let him stay, i said yes, and he's been the same old Rori. he's been hiding my sunglasses a lot now that we're moving though.
