there was a show called The Mighty Hercules he is the one who had a ring with a power , he would wear it and raise his arm to the sky , he would then gather all the strength when he was in danger or when he was in battle , I think that show was popular in the late 60's I was one of those that watched it .

I can also recall that King Solomon had a ring that call up all the beasts and demons of the earth to assist him in buidling the temple (it may be intresting to know if it is a myth or maybe it is true? alteast trying to debunk it will be intresting when one is borded! ;-D )

I have also heard that the Highest of magic you can posess is when you need no book ; items or symbols to practise your craft but by only using your energy and the energies of the universe together with visualisation and your sheer will power to manifest what ever you desire, thing is can that be subscribed to being High magic or merely a High level of energy manipulation?
