She's quite correct. There's very little from JoyOfSatan that is based in historical fact. Most of it contains some vague statement that resembles history that is used to support the site's stance on a particular topic. One of the common examples is the site discussing that the word Satan actually means truth, or something to that effect. It bases this definition on the idea that the word resembles a sanskrit word which means just that, truth. Unfortunately, Satan is Hebrew, and roughly translates into adversary. Hebrew and Sanskrit are not remotely alike. They do not share any common roots. They did not influence each other in development. The word Satan, thus, cannot mean truth as derived from Sanskrit, no matter how similar they may sound.
This is just one example among many. Before laughing and mocking people on a message board, I suggest you get your facts straight.
Lilith is associated with those various female deities that were listed, but most of those names that you mention are from cultures that have little to nothing to do with one another.
Lilith is not mentioned at all in the Torah, Bible, etc. There is little to no connection between her and Adam, Lucifer, any of the figures presented as Satan, etc. She originates from Jewish folklore, in which she is used to explain a discrepancy in the book of Genesis where there are two contradictory accounts of the creation of Adam and Eve.
That's it. The rest has just been people linking stuff together and trying to make sense of it, just like those old, original Rabbis who created a story to make sense of that which did not make sense.
There really is no sense to any of it. Know why? Literally nobody knows what happened. And i mock her because she seems to think she does. Whether the site is 'incorrect' or 'useless' to some, others might find it interesting, which is why i shared it here. I didn't come in telling everyone else that their say was nonesense, so neither should she or you really.
Well anyway, i never came here to argue, i know some enjoy it though. You cam reply to me but chances are i wont see it, not on this site for a debate. Adios.
You are correct about others having different opinions. I've personally experienced her and well no shes not "Satans wife".. I've been reading up on her and oh please do read up on his real name.. He finds that insulting (Lucifer)
Well Lucifer isn't his real name either, that's the name given by the latin translation, his actual name is Helel/heylel. It is a Hebrew name spelled (Heh, yod, lamed, lamed).
Banned from the Bible 2 on the History channel had a very good segment on this topic, told the story of lillith in Detail as well as the name of the banned bible text it was originally from
I find these stories more interesting then those currently left in our version of the Bible, maybe because these stories are less known and I haven't been hearing about them my whole life..
She was made from the same stuff as Adam
She refused to obey Adam and lay beneath Him
So she rebelled refused to come back and God created Eve out of Adams rib hoping she will see herself as a submissive wife
Lillith cursed Their gene pool and became known as the Demon who would kill new born babies and her legend continued.
