i agree with the part that states becoming anything non-human or mythological but i disagree with it all being fake or folklore these thing did not manifest in ones mind they had to exist at one point in time. and as far as thing controlled by the mind, anything is possible if you will it strong enough

Don't you think if 'you try hard enough' or 'if you believe in yourself' worked then people would be doing this stuff all over the world? As mean as it sounds a lot of people need to grow up and get a reality check

You can't break the most basic laws of nature such as death or basic human DNA because both of those are absolute and can't be defyed by any means and if they are ever possible it will be done with medical science

As far as the other stuff goes they do break the laws of physics which again can't be defyed such as gravity and they're called laws of physics for a reason

You dont see people around doing what is considered impossible because the majority of the people who can do that stuff have acheived a high enough level of initiation so they know not to interfere with the world in such a big way as it could be detrimental to the grand scheme of things. And the slight few who dont care know enough to keep it secret, magicians, especially serious ones who tend to stay on the path to attainment know enough to keep it secret. On the laws of physics, those laws were man made, those laws are just what we assume as truth because we the majority of the world has not seen anything that goes against those laws. But once you have seen something that seemingly goes against those laws you have to reconsider your own laws of what is possible and what isnt. this is what happens when science becomes someones religion. They put so much faith into those rules that they close there minds to anything that goes against them. Simply dismissing it as bull.

I honestly just entirely ignore the spells section. All the good stuff is in the forums anyways. Or on chats. When the 'right' people are on. I don't use spells generally. If I do I compose my own.

But that's just me.

I'm very againist people who claim science as the only pure truth but we must admit there is proof a lot on science's end and a fact is a fact

If you want to live a world where people can defy the laws of nature and science isn't valid then you just do that and I'll be perfectly happy living in the real world

I never said science wasnt valid, i said science wasnt perfect. Science is amazing but people must understand that our perspective on natural laws is constantly changing. I never said people can defy the laws of nature just that science hasnt realized everything about nature yet. Hundreds of years ago the world was thought to be flat. It was common knowledge. Know it is common knowledge that the world is round. The great thing about science is that it is constantly changing to fit what we know about the universe and our knowledge of the universe is ever expanding through science. To put so much emphasis on science as an impedement is denying science its true value. A lot of you say levitation is possible because it goes against the laws of gravity. Well there is a lot more to the universe than the law of gravity. Through electromagnetism we can levitate frogs. It is not so unthinkable humans can do this as to what we as magicians know about the fundamental life force and eloptic energy and such.

There are a Ton of posts like this of things you can not become. People will ignore this for the simple fact that They want to believe they can. No matter how many times things like this get posted there are those that will swear you are wrong that either "They or My Friend or A Person I Know" Has become a "Mermaidvampirewerewolf" Never Going To Happen!

I think possession is wrong to do if it was real, but I do not believe in it whatsoever, but I do believe in reincarnation, if your soul is not able to except anything good from any of the great creators such as these gods, zues, prometheus, God, jesus, the great spirit and other gods and if you are not ready to move on into heaven you reincarnate as another being such as a bug if you were not so good in your life, or as a animal which means you were a little better in your life with good, or as a human if you were pretty good but not good enough to go to heaven, or some believes suggest you reincarnate into anything you desire such as some people have been reincarnated as a wolf, a woman or man. Some say you have no choice what you reincarnate in each life there is some debates on that and I am only going by what I heard, some people believe you have no choice and you can be reincarnated as a animals and or reincarnated as different people in the future. That's why some wolves say they were born as wolves but each pack has a different belief. Now even if possession was real which I believe is not, but if complete possession was real I believe it would be a forbidden and evil practice and I would assume that person would have great torments and misery, especially do to the fact if you possess a brain, body, spirit and soul you would eventually become the person or the person would fight back or you would live a half life which would be in my mind a pretty miserable life, a life of dying and living every day. And if the person has died you would eventually decay or the body would decay and you would always have to live with a different body every time and in theory I think you would hear the voices of the imprinted soul inside the brain which is the emotions and thoughts. But anyways I would not believe in such foolish things, I don't and most people would agree. Usually possession is a mistaken identity of a type of a mental illness, I do not know the correct term for it but it's the one where you have different personalities and the person seems to change into a completly different person even though the person is still the same person. Even their face changes sometimes. So I think possession is not literally real, but a mental illness can make a person seem possessed. I do not believe immortality is real, and if it's I think if it was real it should not be forced by things such as possession and not only that but also it should only be done by people that know what they are doing. But do not believe in such things. And besides even if immortality was real, would you truly want that?

The subject of whether immortality is desirable or not is not a subject for a forum about spellcraft. But anyway yes i would accept immortality. I know everyone i know would die and i would be alone, i know i would have to be incredibly secretive but i dont care. This world is to big to truly experience in one lifetime. It would be worth it to me.
