The fact of the matter is, Nymphs are believed to be nature spirits. If you were to meet one, it would probably be a spiritual encounter insead of a physical one. They are a belief similar to faries or spirits. Whether you believe in them or not is completely up to you.
There is no need here to call anyone hypocritical. Some of the arguments here really have nothing to do with the original post at all.
Brysing, I think it was assumed that what fox was writing was a belief instead of a fact. I don't think it is necessary to constantly state what you are writing is belief, especially if it can be infered from the context of the post and surrounding threads.
I am old enough to recognize that! You have clearly indicated that nymphs are a belief. But when it is not made so clear, that is when it can mislead children; and even some adults.

I never studied Nymphs. But if I were you, I would try to find them through the Astral Plane... Not that the other answers are "wrong", that's just my way.
Nymphs can be depicted anyway you wish. You can say their like dragons and don't exsist or you can say their part of nature. Everyone's opion is different, that is common sense. As far as nymphs, legands, myths and stories beg to differ. Nymphs are profoundly the closets things to the elements themselves. If you wish to believe what you will feel free, but nymphs are in contrast in a small sense to elementals, their there it's wether and which way you wish to see them
Well different people have different senses and experiences, their beliefs match these, but since you are here I suggest you should first try and experience other dimensions that are everywhere, before being judgmental, improving senses helps life too, and to experience other dimensions does not mean you will be forced to worship anyone, that is done only in ancient and organised religion. Nature is mostly about free will, and love if possible.
I've seen Nymphs. They are nature spirits, just like any person who has died is a spirit. They are made of energy. I seen a blue orb and still do alot. Nymphs are water fae and Dryads are tree fae. I see them both. Its nice to know many still believe. You can call them or summon them out loud or in your head, near a lake, stream, river or fountain. Even a garden pond or fountain!
