alright then, what kind of spirit do you wish to somon?

i gotta warn u, if u dont know the right ways of protecting urself, u are gonna end up with a deadmans karma, i know from experience, actualy i wasnt summoning a spirit i was helping my recently passedaway neighbor to find his way to his next life and i got a car accident for trying to help -.-

Keep in mind that a spirit and a ghost are two different things.

Why are you wanting to summon a ghost?

I would strongly advise you not to attempt this. It is technically difficult, and potentially very dangerous. As EisKora said, spirits and ghosts are not the same, and do not react in the same ways.

also, summoning spirits or ghosts, whichever you are trying to do is not something to prove how far you may be developed in magic or to try something "cool out". do it if necessary, if not (meaning you can certainly live without it) i suggest sticking to the studies. this isnt a sport. good luck.

Acording to my knolage you can summon/invoke good spirits such as your spiritual guides, astral guides, dietys, and higher spirits to invoke for ritual purposes as for other minor spirits or ghost you shuld use an evocation but I suggest you don't try an evocation if you don't have expiriance with spirits in general.

I agree with Athena, It is not recommended, especially if you don't have a good reason to do so. Don't get ahead of yourself, magic has no shortcuts.
