Time travel is not possible at all yet.

there is a ritual that can be performed to make you go back in time, i myself wouldn't do it though cause you could change the outcome of ur life now. possible even kill the present you by doing it.

I agree. Time travel is not yet possible and it would not be because of magic. Going back to your past life will definitely change the present you. Time traveling also effects the spacetime continuum causing to change hte course of the earth. There are some spells and rituals that are able to help you, but not take you into your past. The only thing you can do is use a spell to look at your past to find your mistakes and hten change that mistake in the present. It;s kinda like a break-up, you fight but later on you make-up. (or end up hating them for the rest of your life, but that doesn't count)

Time magic involves the perception of time. It can influence your ability to view the energies of what have been, what are, and -possibly- what will be. Traveling though? Why bother? Past eras were not as good as romantic stories make them out to be. The lack of hygiene alone, for the most part, would deter me.

I would suggest that time is perception. Therefor, while it could be possible to view the past with years of study and intense focus, it wouldn't be practical to assume you could change it.

If one could travel through time, it would be as energy and therefor without the ability (and prehaps without the Inclination) to effect what was.

Also, another idea, some people believe that if you go back in time to change something, you would already live in the world in which that was changed so you cant change the past.

that was another theory i started to play with as well but then wouldn't that mean i should try it to make sure i get the same outcome? or would ignoring be best?
