Thank you.^^
from what I've. Gathered so far, it seems like she gets a bad Rep from a western point of view. She has been described as beautiful, quite loving, deadly if provoked, creative, and as you said, unimaginable powerful from what Ive gleemed. Would you say that is accurate?

well in ways she is both rathfull and nice. like you said when she is provoked you see her bad side, sadly this was offten. she was not a popular goddess and from what i read she seemed to take this as a grudge. but yes there are places where she is nice and loving.. here is a web page that will give you quotes from poems and old writings even things like Homers, Iliad and much more.. it is a good read! run through the whole page.. most of the good stuff is at the bottom half.

Arabella,
I am very new to the concept of deities. This question may come off as naive ( which on this subject I feel that I am) but is there some sort of ritual to possibly contact her. Speak with her perhaps? A prayer or something of the sort?

Many people meditate on their diety. One of the most common , one might say powerful, ways some communicate with their patron is through evokation. I hope I'm not getting invokation and evokation mixed up as trying to forcing a being to materialize, invokation if my memory serves, isn't likely to end well when dealing with such a powerful being while evokation or evoking is calling the spirit, entity, diety, etc...into your body and mind to form a sort of unification. This is supposed to be very inspiring, enlightening, etc... I don't know much about it in the end but simple evoking one might say is often done in spells when you verbally ask the aid of a diety or being as your asking for their wisdom and knowledge, not to mention power, to help your spell succeed though not everyone evokes a diety while performing a spell. I'm delving into a area I'm not "well" informed upon but maybe some of this will make sense and you can look it up.

Nyx and lilith are constantly confused but they are 2 different entities. Nyx is the goddess of the night her symbol is commonly the crescent moon she is very powerful can be wrathful and kind. Lilith is the mother of succubi and goddess of the vampire (the real ones not the hollywood fakes) she is also one of the seven leaders of hell she is the embodiment of lust and lucifer's wife. Nyx is a good choice for a patron i am considering it as well
