Reasons to be gagged

Is there anyway to convince the person who gagged him to un-gag him?

While I am not a mod, I have been a member of this website for a while.

Your friend, LeoBlades, mailed me an offer to join the Illuminati. I assume I am not the only one whom he sent this message; it's likely he was gagged due to spamming (sending multiple messages) or interrupting the flow of the website by doing this.

He can start another profile and follow the rules but his old profile is gagged for good.

In some cases a moderator has chosen to ungag a member so long as they don't disrupt the order of the site or break site rules. This isn't always an opportunity because a moderator might not message you at all after you're gagged, and sometimes there is no way of telling who did it. The best thing you can do is create a new account and don't cause trouble again.

The rules state that you can create a new account, ad infinitum, when you are gagged.

It isn't your place to speak about his or her gag and is most likely not allowed. Your friend can message a moderator to see what they can find out about their previous account being gagged or banned. This is a typical procedure on most socially active websites. All I can say is that this is none of the public's business for most websites you go on.

He cannot speak--he was gagged--so I am speaking in his place.

He was gagged for spamming this site which is against the rules that he agreed to when he became a member. The gag will not be removed.
