Invoke Spirits

Lol if you didnt know Skyclad means naked. I was also wishing to invoke the Goddess Nyx on this day because the lones between this realm and the next are blurred during this day. Be careful if you are going to go through with it. The line between the Ethereal and Physical are blurred that day and although you might invoke the spirit you was hoping for, something else may follow it.

would it work to invoke an ancestor in a persons family onthat day?

Contacting those who have passed on and you have a personal connection to is what the day is all about. The veils between the worlds/planes are at their thinnest on Halloween. This makes it easier to communicate with any and all spirits.

what if u just try to invoke some random ancestor? what would be the danger?

You still have a personal relationship with them, you are part of their blood line. Any ancestor can be contacted it just helps to know their name, possibly what they looked like (a picture or the picture of them in your minds eye), or have a personal item.

There is no danger of contacting an ancestor.

Whatever you feel most comfortable in. I prefer dark clothing and my cloak for hollow's eve, but whatever is special to you will work best.
