That was already addressed. What I am saying is that no one ever gets to the past, they reconstruct its energy from memory. I'm not talking about a time machine, I am talking about regression.
It is never meant for Humans to Travel into Space and Time... If you do want to travel, Live your life to the fullest by not believing in matters that are impossible... Thats why when the Teleportation device was invented it was kept in a place were no one can use it, cause many things will be different, war will come upon does who seek to move Time and to use it as a Tool of Power...

I'm not sure if you have confused a tachyon with something else but creating an electromagnetic field certainly would not create one, it's a subatomic particle capable of travelling fster than light, it would move back in time but I'm pretty sure the object wouldn't, unless you mean to break the object down into tachyeons and then accelerate them over a large or circular distance however re-assembly could et a little messy without any form of device in the other era. To put it simply the faster you go the slower time acts upon you, thus you move forward in time, however once you break the speed of light (Approx 300000000metres per second) then the reverse hppens, you move faster than the light behind you thus arrive at your destination before you left, however with such a scenario as it is untested we don't know the outcome exactly, do you move back in time physically or do you just catch back up with the light rays from a while ago thus only being able to see the past whilst not ctually being present within it, we're not 100% certain. Also there's the added issue that as it stands to accelerate the human body to such a speed would kill you, and as I'm guessing that the ideal would to arrive with all three dimensions of your body intact, it's probably not ideal. The main problem with time travel in general is that no one knows what happens, it may cause a paradox thus spontaneously creating an alternate future or may cause the end of the universe, equally time could be a continuous blur of moments in a constant cycle so that your presence and actions would have no effect on the current future, in which case would you return to your own future or a parrallel one, or indeed were you allways meant to travel back in time, and there in the first place, to me this is the scariest possibility as it would mean time is preset and our actions are determined by something before us and has the effect of stripping free will.
