We as witches have been wrongfully persecuted. yes there are satanists but just because they are satanists(not trying to offend any satanists). that doesn't include all of us. there are pagans, catholic witches, atheist witches, et cetera. i have seen the mass of the catholic church and as much, as they deny it, the church does magic rites, rituals, et cetera. the church has no right to point fingers at us for doing what we do(no offense to the Catholics or Christians). our parents are our parents but they honestly do not have the right to force their beliefs on us. my own parents called me an idiot, and told me that i was crazy. what counts are those close to you my friends have all accepted me and 2 have joined the Craft and i couldn't ask for more. trying to come to terms with your family is the best way to prevent conflicts but, like me, practicing the craft in secret is another option but will create conflicts. its up to you to decide .

I been accused by a girl at my high school being a devil worshipper but I told her that it is not of her damn business and she called me that again TI told her I would slap her one
One of the most powerful men in history, Christian or otherwise, was King Solomon. All Christians know about him, his stories, his close connection with God. These days it is accepted that Solomon was one of God's prophets, and a really good one at that.
What the Christians do not like talking about was the Truth of Solomon. You can find it played out in non-biblical histories, in the Book of Solomon from the bible itself, and most solidly from the Keys of Solomon. Solomon knew there was more to worry about than just God and demons. He knew these were only two sources of power for the greater good of his kingdom.
Solomon was a practitioner off the Craft. His god of choice was God himself, but his methods were similar to what we use now in our "devil worshipping" witchcraft. Solomon was never accused of that though. He used circles, candles, incantations, and words of power to work his magic, just as we do now. Difference is, not all of us worship our deities with such holy ferver.
Solomon was more than "just a Christian." From his teachings our eyes begin to open just a little further to the truths of the Universal. I believe most Christians could do with a bit of study and enlightenment into the history of some of their most powerful prophets.
For one thing, I personally don't believe the Christian god exists... and for another, I don't get how you could be a wiccan and accused of practicing Satanism because they are nothing alike. :/ personally I think this is a strange deal...

well I am satanist so when they say that it is true for me, but people who do not understand something fear it, this is the mind set that the church has set among the people, the salem witch trials are a prime example of mass hysteria and fear as people accused the neighbors they had known for years of witchcraft, innocent people were tortured and burned at the stake for being a witch, if people attack you or say "i'll pray for you" shrug it off and keep going, do not let them try to enforce their view onto you

i have this next door neighbor who waz my friend but now she isnt, one day she said " you are not supposed to be doing that its bad you are ment to meet satan when you die" wwhen she saw me meditating, but know i have a friend who is into this stuff to!
When I was a teenager, the school library ,if it had any books on withcraft the pages with the spells were ripped out. The bookstore( which without the internet was the only option) hid everything in the back corner labeled metaphysical studies and put it next to the books on satanism. I was told I couldnt wear my pentagram at school, and I had friends kicked out of a school dance because we "scared" people. It will get better for you...this I promise. It does not make you a bad person or "evil". Try to respect your parents because after all they are putting a roof over your head. Before you know it you will be out on your own and free to make all your own choices. :)
Yes, and i've had my stepdad say he'd rather me be an atheist tyhen a wiccan. My mom got very nervous when a pastor friend of the family and his wife took me home from the hospital. "Don't tell them you're a witch!" Me and the pastor's wife spent the whole ride home talking about natural remedies and herbs lol.
