Could be a few things. Belief is one, if you look at the facts behind a Ouija Board you can argue its in your head, just if you experienced a successful conversation with a spirit you would believe it to be real. Believe what you may just don't become ignorant.
Being made by a toy company doesn't matter, just cleanse and bless the board. Same when you use it, candles and incense don't matter, cast a circle [you should feel it] meditate and when in a trance like state try using the board. If you still get nothing it could be the person you are trying to speak with has crossed over and is reincarnated.
Always meditate. Also, always open with a prayer and end with a prayer, that keeps it so the spirits are willin to talk to you, yet closing it will make it so the spirits are done for the day or moment and you wont still hear them. You dont want to keep the planchete near your board when your not using it.
If you have negative energy, it won't work if you use it by yourself. People with negative energy are still able to summon, but not able to give there energy the same way.. Meaning if you want it to work. Use a shot glass and play with a friend or two
Hi there, Here are my tips. That's correct in using a shot glass for your Ouija Board as it's edges are smooth and the spirits seem to move it about more easily. Also you will a room that is dimly lit and peace quite is what is needed here also. Make sure you are clear in your mind and shut out any interference from the outside world.
