This is a very Locke society with a touch of Communism added in, but to be honest, it's still rather impossible. You can't just create land. If we did manage to create it, we would have to develop it pretty fast before some other country decides to take it over for themselves. Besides, somebody will always think differently. The Elders you spoke of would need to be wise, and to do that they would have to examine logic from every angle. Eventually one would abuse their power or subtly gain control of this military, something will happen. The society would have to be highly religious in order to stay constantly in check. There would have to be something as binding and absolute as religion to make sure everybody thinks the same way constantly. I'm sorry, but this is too good to be true.
i think the national relgion should be something with magic but thats for evryone to vote on - Joeypalz
It would not be a main goal, not trying to seem intrusive or demanding, but it will definitely happen when a cultural establishment is created of the nation. Once a culture is established a regional/dominative religion or belief system will follow. Most likely, it will be based around magick, spirituality, meditation, the self, and psionics. The nation will have many schools that teach these things, along with schools that teach mathematics, science, and technology, without leaving anything behind.
how can you be rich without money? Luzifer
The nation will definitely have some monetary aspects that will act as a currency. The nation will have an economy and commerce. Although our goal is not to become rich or develop a nation of class and ego [the exact opposite] we will have tangible value, and it probably will be super-rich compared to other nations.
Well who knows maybe people would recognize this project and support us with money.. Joeypalz
I have been in contact with some big people already. I am actively planning and gathering the capital means of accomplishing this idea.
This is a very Locke society with a touch of Communism added in Jahbulon
The plan and if it becomes real, it would actually be a super-capitalist, free and democratic nation. A free monetary system controlled by the people and fueled by your work and contributions to society, a government at the mercy of the people, etc.
it's still rather impossible Jahbulon
It will require a lot of work, but it is possible.
I will address other questions and concerns in my next post [those existing that I havent addressed, and those that will be posted before my next post] .
I would not, for a few reasons. The main reason is that strife and change allow you to feel truly alive at times..
such a society would end up suppressing change and adaptation, as our current on excells at as well.
too much "good" and "light" in one place is just as terrible as too much "dark" and "evil". A place like that would be beautiful at first, if all went well.. but i would never live in such a place perminantly.
But if "beautiful utopia" did exist I wouldn't wont to live there, if there is a place full of peace, joy and love, then humans apparently aren't going to be there, people naturally fight with each other, and in a place full of beauty, I can imagine all of the ugliness and disaster that would arise. When something good happens, it doesn't last long, when peace happens, it doesn't last long, so if there was a perfect* nation with millions of perfect* peaceful people living in it what will happen when someone disagrees with someone else, and then people with the same opinion about it band together and just start killing everyone.... But it all revolves around the magic word "If", like saying "What if you let your mind wonder for to long, you might end up with this."
A utopia would be boring. Humans are not fit for such a society, and therefore, utopias are impossible. Perhaps something just below utopia would be what is truly right for the world.
