Strange Archea, I thought you were talking to blood mage. I am no idiot who has done done his research, and in fact I used to believe the same as Blood mage on this subject. Than I got exposed to the truth, and started looking for myself.

It's funny though how your words so much more aptly describe him and his stubborn refusal to accept reality, and that he is wrong, than they do to me. Prehaps citing specifics and links would be better then insisting the education of others is lacking?

Regardless of opinion, though it does appear that both parties arguing believe whole heartidly in their specific perspective, it would be best to allow a young tree to continue to grow and harvest an older tree for wand wood.

Economicly the wood is going to be springy and tough, which could be unfavourable for easy carving. Spiritually an older tree would have absorbed more energy in its lifetime.
And perspectivly it would be best to allow the tree its chance to grow instead of cutting bits off while its young.

It would be nice for people to, at this point, accept each others opinions and let things be. Yes?

Lol, and by the time this argument is over, the baby tree will be an adult tree anyway.

I just have to say, if you are right then more power to you!! Either of you..but here is NOT the place to fight for or against the forests...I have a rule, if it is not is use by the natural force it belongs to..ei if it is on the ground, or cast off by the wind, one can use it..no killing trees, no national debate of weather you should kill the tree or not!! Blood is right, and you are right...won't do any good to tell either of you otherwise..now take your debating attitude some where else..thank you!

Any kind of tree will work for a wand, but try to pick one with properties that reflect what you want to do with the wand.

I would like to use mine for protection, blessings, weather,charging a wand and such.
