what are spirits capable

It is rare but not impossible for a spirit to leave behind physical evidence of it's presence. As far as what they are capable of, usually not much more than harassment unless given energy by a physical person or some other source, or the area is a hot spot where the veil is thinnest (commonly known as ley lines). If a person can naturally channel energy well, a spirit can influence your thoughts, emotions, and give you urges that are not of your own.

Allegedly, one of the most "haunted" spots in the world is in Midlothian Illinois (USA), the center of which is Bachelor's Grove Cemetary. I just so happen to live in Illinois so I wanted to see why this place had such activity. Many people claim ley lines, but why do these ley lines allow more activity than others? So I went there as it was approaching midnight. Am I crazy? Probably.

Undoubtedly I experienced some of the most intense physical activity and the constant sense of being watched by physical eyes when no one was there. I found that running through the very forest that surrounds this cemetary are underground high voltage electricity lines as well as high voltage tension power grids. Just standing between this track with raw electricity below and above me was so intense it made my body ache. Not only that but I also found evidence of animal sacrifice. I found a dead deer with it's throat cut by a sharp knife. Pentagrams and other symbols were drawn with red ink (I hope ink) or carved into trees. Obvious occult activity. My belief is that this is the cause of the extremes of this area, both high spiritual and physical energy being pumped through a single area.

The more energy a spirit has access to, the more it can do. Most of the time, their abilities are very limited. But it is always an excellent idea to wear an amulet or place wards around the home and in your car because regardless of the amount of energy a spirit has at its disposal, they can never be truly physical. Just as we cannot change our DNA, they cannot change what they are made of. Our physical bodies and our physical objects put us at an advantage. We are both--a spirit in a body; spirit and material. So we must impliment material objects in protections in order to maintain this advantage. When only casting, we are on an even level, our magick vs theirs and a battle of willpower begins. Those aren't fun, so I suggest physical materials be used. This is one of few times that tools actually have a huge influencement and are not just mental aids.

i clean the kitchen floor with mint tea just a quick swipe did it before i left... the easiest to grab protection herb rosemary grows outside my door noone has a key except my boyfriend he swept the nigh before it wasnt there then went to bed and work... i felt scared when i saw it yesterday but i don't feel scared now that i think the shock is over... i feel like there's something here.... i cant tell yet if its the same man as before im going to wait till tomorrow to either sheild the whole complex or just shoe someone on to there final stop... you had very good information thank you... much blessings im still open for thought on spirits i can only attribute my feeling then as feeling energy i guess or as the last post said people looking or touching you... mabe just a hey it happens... blessings all...

Spirits are known to be capable of causing physical objects to break or move when they have a strong enough energy source to draw from. As for things appearing that is foreign to it's surroundings, it can happen. It isn't common, in fact it's very very rare and is usually so small that it is deamed as "signs" or "warnings". It isn't like in the movies. Malicious, restless/scarred, or destructive spirits are most known for soot, burn marks, claw marks, etc. By restless I mean lost in their own "hell" (imagine being trapped in the darkest parts of your mind and them manifested in front of you because it's all you can think about).

If I was in your position and I truly felt this burn/soot mark was created by a spirit, I would use the mark to connect to them (as you would a poppet or personal possession) and banish them from me and my home. Then use it again to create a ward to prevent it from being able to hurt me (sort of like a binding) or effect that around me (that which I call "mine"). And move this physical ward with me to every home I ever inhabit. It really can't hurt. Better safe than sorry.

As for the stain, after you use it in practise (if you choose to) use vinegar to try and remove it. It's gentle enough to use on practically anything. Spray it on and let it sit for a moment, than scrub it. If you add some baking soda to the vinegar, you've added an abrasive and second cleanser (they also cause a chemical reaction that makes it fizz up so add it together on the spot or in your sink). Don't put it in anything that will air seal it (when the two ingredients are together) because it causes air pressure and could make your bottle explode or the cap fly off.

If that still doesn't get it off, delute 1-2 cap of bleach in a pint of piping hot water. Then use that. Sometimes bleach can cause stripping and discoloration so test it in an inconspicuous spot first. But if a big black spot won't come out, it comes to a point where you just want the thing gone no matter what.

so its me tiana 420 but im tabitha now.. so it never really went away i put an object in the spot that wuld be noticed if it were moved or twisted i said if i needed to be contacted twist the cup but please dont scare me.... the cup never twisted but the thickness or energy that was, is still there and i havent had a problem.. untill the water heater blew behind the wall so that could have leaked there but it wouldnt have burned tile i wouldnt think... just in case i put iron and dried white sage with in view of the cup i put for communication... no cigar soo far but i feel not afraid... i think it was the initial startle that caused that fear cause i dont fear death or the spirits at all there surprisingly easier to talk to than alive ones... blessings all and thanks for the info...

Tabitha! I'm so pleased to see you're still around! Some things will always remain a mystery. If it was spiritual, you put a halt to it, which is great. It's obviously an "isolated incident" so I would put the past behind you and get a throw rug to put over that stain. =)

Actually when we took the cabinet apart, it was in a corner.. plants were growing in the water from the water heater blowing, so that could've been it.. but i still leave that cup there for anyone... now its a bamboo plant... blessings
