For Newbies

Jet, the basics are required to learn first, depending on there path. You need to learn to meditate to be able to astral project consciously. You can not simply astral project 'accidently' its rather you do it or you don't.

I've projected accidentally in the past, and have heard several stories similar, including from people who don't practice magick. Peace :)

GPS, there are hundreds of people that accidently Astral Project. When you go into acomma (don't think I spelt that right), you Astral Project sometimes. Astral Projection happens when your body is physically asleep, and your mind is mentally awake.

GPS, I guess we shouldn't though mention Astral Projection to the "Newbies" they might get it stuck in their head that it will be easy, and when they try it just one time, they will say it didn't work.

You're not wrong. I quite agree with you, but newbies should focus on the basics first. In order to astral project on purpose they need to learn meditation and visualisation.

Yes I agree, mediations and visuallization and focus are the keys.

Meditation... Hundreds of years.. I'd say from the dawn of man in one form or another... But yeah, good contribution, props...

Visualization,mediation, and study is what I did when I first started getting my own self involved with magick. Step by step I started understanding more, and adding blocks to my solid foundation of understanding. I think it is a great way to start learning. You go from the more "Basic" stuff to the more "Advance" just like in a English class or Math Class for example.

Just in magick as others try to start from all away around and jump accross. I highly suggest that you begin as you please and add blocks to your solid foundation that you will gain throughout practice and study.

a beginner should start with meditation. that's right. but I am really wondering when I will know that I am ready to cast a spell????

Well actually should begin with reading and learning more about magic(k) and the path they want to follow.
