Well if you believe in the astral look into it and see, but it's probably a mixture of your imagination and muscle spasms of some kind. Like if you've been working the muscles in your back and you're not use to the movement they will feel sore. [Example spent the day swimming] You could of also injured yourself unknowingly and it would cause pain. [Example sleeping wrong] try some stretches and back exercises, perhaps speak with a doctor about it to make sure it's nothing serious.

I agree with everyone above. It is physically impossible to grow wings or a tail. If you see any spells claiming they can turn you into a mermaid or a werewolf, it's a waste of time to check it out. You can be sure that most of the spells in the 'Fantasy' and 'Trick' section are fluff work. Spells do not have the power to change your genes.
Yes I know physically its not possible here in our world but I would appreiate it if you would give me some respect in your messages to me. No I didn't sleep funny because it was in the middle of the day when I was playing with the feeling of wings so before then I would know if I had slept oddly the night before. Now if your reading this and are going to parrot everyone else's words please do not post but if you have something productive to add I would like to hear it.

No one is disrespecting you dear but everyone is right, it's impossible to grow wings physically. It had been clearly mentioned and specified that such things are impossible. Magick does not go beyond science. Further I'd suggest you to visit a doctor as there might be some problem in your muscles but I can guarantee that there aren't any wings, it's just your imagination capturing your mind. That's it.
To veer away from what everyone alse is saying, you could look more into auric wings. I don't know a lot about them, but they would be worth some studying.
