Prayers for Paris

So much devastation and death yet my main thoughts turn to the feeling that this is only the beginning. It's hard when something like this happens and all you can do is keep them in your thoughts, heart, and/or pray if you're religious. Still, we do what we can.

My prayers go out to Paris. Thank you for alerting me of this. I will light a vigil once I'm home.

Yes, by all means pray for Paris. But it is not only a tragedy for Paris; it is a tragedy for the whole of Humanity.There are such attacks all over the world. They have occurred throughout history. And will continue to occur wherever, and whenever, people are "brain washed" into the fanatical "Believe what we believe, or we will kill you!". It is then that religion becomes Political, and sees the rise of vigilante groups. Hatred breeds hatred. Violence breeds violence.
So pray for all of us.
"Ask not for whom the bell tolls. It tolls for thee!"

Thank you for doing this, CastorGemini. I will light a white candle for peace and red candle for love on my altar, and in the center I will light an incense stick of Nag Champa and let it burn for the rest of the day. I will be directing a cosmic flow of universal energy of peace and love and calmness to all the citizens of Parish.
