Hey,I'm not exactly new to casting,and I've actually done a few successful weather spells that I made my self - snow stuff(deep chanting it usually helps a lot),and don't ask me to tell them to you,because it was pure inprov and I don't remember a thing.I can focus my energy pretty well,but since my grandmother was an energy vamp,and i was her battery with legs,most of my juice is ether gone,or sealed and dormant.But what I'm truly interested in is in fact channeling the pure stuff;by that I mean pure magical energy that has NO affiliation (ex. nature,elements,light or darkness)what so ever.In my mind and through my senses it is a blue-purplish energy that permeates everything,the very fabric of existence itself...So I can break free!
What I want to know is are my senses on the level?Witchcraft is good for getting started,but I am interested in magic in it's self,like I said - pure magic.I realize that it is too early for this and even if I could reach it I wouldn't know what to do with it.Never the less this is my ultimate goal,concerning magic of any kind.
p.s. what I am looking for at the moment is a way to get started working towards that goal

Thanks Starrie. It was an eye opener. I will definitely re-read it. Sometimes we miss things the first time and it is good to go back and re-read. I can't find your reference cause I am in a hurry but say a person is depressed, does that work against you if your trying to spell cast? I read something about getting rid of anger and thoughts somewhere in there. Just wondered if it applied to all types of emotions. Thanx again.
