Maybe it's one of those things where if you tell yourself enough times your a demon or whatever you want to be, you'll start to believe it. Probably not the case, but I guess its possible. ;)

It is more than just starting to believe it, BlackCat. There are people will even start to act up their own beliefs. It's one thing to believe it and another thing to act upon it. Either way these people need to be shown/told what is actually true and learn to discern truth and actuality from falsehood and fantasy. The only downfall with this is that there are those who will not have their beliefs swayed because their belief is so strong. In these cases I think professional psychological evaluation and help is in dire need.
Wow... I haven't been able to be on here for a while because of school and preparing for graduation, but now that I have a bit of free time and reading something like this? Man... I don't see how the fluffs can get any worse.
It stems from children who delve to much into Dungeons and Dragons, Pokemon and other fantasy games and movies, wishing for the world to be what they want from those.
I just wish for a day that all the role players would have their wish and things like they say they are existed all the fluffs would be dead and the world would be at peace.
(they would likely try to roleplay the world as it is now as the wishful thinking.)
All I can say is WOW! I, too, read bios when they are on chat. I like to know who I'm talking with. Had to block mail on one who said if I turn him into a demon, he would show me picture of his arm when he was a werewolf. Then their is one who is dracula's son, and Hell's keeper, lord of war and pain, etc. Then their is also one who has real name, wiccan name, and a vampire name. This is just ridiculous, and it gets in the way of the serious people who are truly searching their path and willing to learn. But what can we do? How can these people be weeded out? Call them out and gag them would be the only way for the moment, I guess. Meanwhile, we just need to watch out for these people and correct any misinformation for those who are serious about the craft.
Makes me especially mad as I am trying to deal with real issues. I need to find people really dedicated to this. Go role play somewhere else, theres A LOT of places online.
many people don't feel special, especially in their teens, and they watch a movie or show and they think 'wow they're so cool, i wish i could be just like them' then one day they discover there really is a religion where you can cast magic and stuff so they join thinking they can make people fly and cast beams from there finger. once they find out they can't, they feel it's a flaw within themselves then a flaw with their mind frame. that's at least how i explain people like that, they just want to be noticed.
in regards to the comment about believing something long enough, my friend has a theory about that i like. if you think something, say there's a ghost in your house, every noise you'll say it's a ghost, when you forget where you put something, you'll claim a ghost moved it. eventually you pour so much energy into the belief there's a ghost when there isn't, your energy will form a spirit. it can only exist as long as you feed your energy into it though. i like that, it's like casting a spell unknowingly.
in terms of being the great granddaughter of Satan that's amazing, i've never heard that claim yet. it's like something out of a bad comedy book, like being Dracula's daughter or something. I've heard of gods and demi-gods having children with mortals, but i think we would have noticed if Satan had a son. something i heard about once having to do with it bringing the end of days or something. also, demon boyfriend. it's odd i take less of a stance with this once, because i've noticed recently a lot of people taking the attitude 'if i can't date a human, i'll date anything mythological!' while not all demons are evil, dating a demon is a bad idea. [and as always i highly disbelieve a demon is hanging around.]
Um, in case nobody here has noticed, Satan has been around for pretty much forever, so if this person was in fact his great grand daughter, she would be a couple thousand years old.
