To be honest, we get a lot of members in chat that come in asking how to summon different things. I usually tell them if they do not know how, they should not do so. Only because if they do not know how to summon it, chances are they do not know how to get rid of it as well. It is not my decision what any certain group does, and honestly could care less, I do believe they should be educated about any issues before doing anything.
I agree and I do see where your coming from on this topic. Thanks for clearing it up everyone. I didn't take in account the many ridicules questions you get asked in a day and I can understand with that being said why some topics are not worth touching in the chatter. Sorry for the confusion.
I completely agree. As a satanist I find it very irritating when I read someone's post that says about hell being an evil place, in retaliation to a post asking about satanism beliefs.
i have a few friends who are Satanists, plus i studied world religions not only in school but as a hobby so i understand the faith, but i also see the bias people have towards it. it's half a misconception, like they hear 'Satanist' and instantly think horrible cult like thoughts. or they heard some creepy goth kid was a Satanist and therefore think all Satanists are like that. upsetting, but i think thats what the problem is.
personally, i don't care, as long as you don't push your belief onto me, whatever completes you and brings you inner peace is fine in my book. i have seen people seem to hate or shy away from Satanists, but i think it's a result of stigma. i agree that this site especially would be more accepting, hypocritical when you think about it.
Replying to your first comment, I would say: It is complicated. Say that people of this site have something against satanists, or luciferians, etc, is not right. First it is not a community about this (specific about these areas), but posts about this can be created in the "misc topics or other path", exactly to avoid confusion. If you make a post about another path, so you should be able to hear different comments (including wrong concepts). And about the comment of Dezzy, everyone gets angry when talking something wrong about his belief, and it is not only with satanists or luciferians.
To add my two cents to this matter; there are certainly some Satanists out there who do things like blood rituals, or sacrifice animals, etc. (the author 'Brother Nero' is an example, as stated in his book simply called "Satanism") but for the vast majority, they don't. That being said, things like animal sacrifice are present within a wealth of different religions, which different people within those religious will practice, ignore, or demonize.
And yes, a lot of people, including some of the mods, will be ignorant to these matters; do keep in mind that mods are just people too. They're not ineffable or perfect, and I'm sure some of them would be the first to admit it. ;)
The main issue with Satanism and Luciferianism is that they are very subjective and individualistic religious ideas, which change from person to person; it's near impossible to objectify either one, or any branch of either religious view.
Let those who wish to stay away from these matters stay away from them; and if somebody starts bashing you for whatever practices or beliefs you hold, you can either try to have a discussion with them, or just ignore them. Hopefully in time some of these people will become more open minded and respectful to these concepts, and drop their associated concepts of what they *think* you believe.
I meant that I saw someone asking about satanism, like what it is and they might want to be one. Then another person commented like saying that hell is a horrible place, that heaven is better. I tried to word it differently, I don't like to make it really obvious who I'm talking about.
