Sue... she's a very dear friend to me. She's kind, caring, and sweet. I respect her very dearly and I am saddened by her loss. I wish her well, wherever her spirit is now.
This is a great loss for us all personally and as a community. She was a great friend to so many of us. She died in a car wreck, she was driving in bad weather lost control of her car, and another slammed into her, killing her instantly. I have lite a candle in her honor and continue to pray for all of us who knew and loved her.
Sue is a wonderful woman that was a huge part of this community and she will be missed greatly. Her life may not have been as long as some, but from the pages on this thread alone, it is obvious that she lived it well, touching many people's lives.
So much sadness and talk of death on this thread. Instead of echoing the sadness why not celebrate her life. Share a memory, a gift, a moment of Sue's life. Death is not the end. Sue is not "dead". Death is not a state of being but a door one passes through to get from one place to another. She is only gone from us when we stop remembering her.
Times like this remind us that life is not in our control and that each day is a gift. I do not like the saying to live everyday as if it were your last. It seems so sad to live in constant worry and stress. Live for death? No, thank you! That's not what life is about. I prefer living as if it were my first days of life, rich with wonder, free from fear, and full of love and learning.
We are taught at an early age to plan for our future when our future is not in our control. This is why so many people end up depressed and unhappy in life! For the older ones, how different is your life from what you imagined at 12? 17? 25? I bet it's far from what you "planned". I don't believe Sue was like that. From her bio alone, it shows how well she adapted and worked with what life gave her. She did it right! And I'm sure her spirit will continue in the same fashion. You go girl! I'm rooting you on.
We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

Sue, I learned so much from you. You touched my life when I was struggling. I know that we didn't know each other for but a blink of an eye through our lives but I hope that we meet again in the next life. Good luck Sue.
I have been on and off this site for many years. When I first started getting on this site many years ago, when I didn't know there was a community for people like me I found this site.
Sue was one of the first people I talked to on here. I talked to her for quite sometime.
Here it is years later and I find out she has passed. My heart is broken. She gave me so much guidance and wisdom I will cherish and remember for my whole life.
Indeed we should celebrate her life, not her passing, but I am really heartbroken just finding this out.
People on this site respected and loved her very much. Many of us did not meet her past this website but many loved her so much.
I really have nothing else to say except I am deeply saddened by discovering this news today...

In the words of Isabel Allende, Sue will never be truly dead. She has touch the lives and hearts of so many people and blessed them with her grace and kindness. She will forever live through the memories of those who knew her.
