Astral Projection has much to do with meditation and visualization, it would be best to study the basics and practicing them before attempting to do astral projection. Make sure you have a goal when doing astral projection, it would help with your practice.

This one might sound as a very strange tip, but it just worked for me last time. Read subject related books before going to sleep or immediately before felling asleep. Having written that, I should mention that I was not trying to Astral Project whatsoever. I just decided to return to my scholarly studies on the subject. I have in my library a hardback book called "Astral Travel for Beginners" by Richard Webster. It is very easy read. I have read it before few years ago, but decided to sit and read it before going to sleep to just recap. I must have been reading page number 15, when I felt sleepy. I was at the very beginning of the book and still not any near to the section with the techniques. After I have fallen asleep, it just happened. I tend to usually see what I call my "dreaming body" or parts of it. It simply looks as your normal body and it feels like that for the most part, but then you just leave it behind. I left it under the form of a mist. I did not even realise immediately that what I left was not my physical body, but my dream one. It downed on me later as I left it as a mist. Then I just fell down and back in my physical body because the realisation hit me and because I did not like the place I went to. Again, I did not use any technique and I was not intending to do it. It just happened after I read a bit of the book. I guess reading before sleep somehow preps you for the experience, but I am not sure by what exact pathway. I am also not sure that this will work for everyone at every time. I guess it will work the best for people, who are impressionable and can go easy in self-hypnosis state or any other altered state of mind/consciousness.
This video will give you basically the whole idea of Astral Projection. Watch it, and you should be able to understand what it is, and what the process is.
I find it hard to relax my muscles especially my neck. Can anyone help, with crystals or meditation technique...etc? Or i will eventually do it,perhaps?
I learned to project at around age 10, I can give you some tips but I'm still trying to figure out what happened the last time because something freaky happened to me. But if you message me I'm willing to help
Well, I started astral projecting a couple years ago. I ended up saying "screw it" and went with my instinct. Its different for every one of course. What worked for me, (feel free to modify the technique if you want) went something like this.
Sit or lay down in a comfortable position, I found laying down works best. Play quiet, meditation music on low. Just loud enough to disrupt other sounds. Relax you body and begin to loosen up. Any tenseness may cause distraction. Roll your ankles, neck, shoulders. Pop you knuckles, neck, toes, and back. Stretch your arms and legs.
Lay Down and close your eyes. Take 10-20 deep breathes and visualize yourself, as you are. Visualize your energy as a bright light, sourounding your body like you were under water. Visualize a second version of yourself, above you. Completely devoid of that energy, and color. This is your astral form. Still breathing deeply, visualized that with each breath in, you are gathering a little more of the energy. With each breath out, you are sending it to your astral form. Eventually, your body will run out of that energy and will look like what your astral form was when it first appeared. You will notice there is a golden line connecting the two bodys. That is your ticket home. Your connection to the physical world. Now. We need to start moving. Visualize your hand. Try to twitch your astral fingers. To make them move. But not your physical fingers. That comes later. Once you are able to move your astral fingers, try to roll the wrist. Slowly work your way up the body until you are able to move all of it.
Congratulations, you are now in control of your astral form. Now, its time to explore. Look around. Where are you? When I first used the astral form, I was in a blank room. But when I thought about my room, I was able to appear there. Try looking around the house, explore a bit. Remember a specific little detail. Try to find something you didn't see before. To wake up, find the golden cord that connects you to your body. Tug on it. Or follow it. When you are at your other body, begin the process of re-transfering the light/energy. After you are done, start twitching your bodys fingers to wake up. Be sure not to just open your eyes and move around. That's dangerous. After you are fully back in your body, go to that little detail you found. Was it there? Be sure to eat and drink after you travel or use magic. It takes energy.
Good luck, safe travels.
Merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again.
Blessed be.
