how to make a wand

I found a stick on the beach, is it ok to make a wand out of it?

Over the weekend i set out on a quest for a wand. What i was going to do was wander around untill i found something i liked. |efore i got more thqan a block away from my home i found piece of maple that just happened to be the length of my elbow to middle finger. I took it as a sign(as the gods HAVE been looking out for me lately). Just now i thought of looking at the corresponance of maple and i see that this was truely a great cosmic working

if you notice the tarot suit wands is interchangable with staves. Even when called wands they are sometimes depicted taller than the person weilding it.

you could definitely use your stick as a wand, by no means are wands permanent. i know people that have gone through alot of them or have one for different rituals or even moon phases

Is it acceptable to have a wand shaped and held as a sword?

I'm trying to make a staff, I was wondering If it went above my elbow by 3-5 inches, would it affect magic?

My wand is vary ruph. One- because I did not have the tools to make it fancy and pretty. Two-becouse I felt it mirrored me in a way, something that is wanting to be refined and gathering the tools necessary to do so. I feel that in some way the wand represents you. Just let yourself go when making it. It can be as ornate or plane as you want it to be. Iv even herd of people attaching crystals on there wands. But sometimes I prefer my Atheme, but it just depends on the day.
