i confessed to my catholic priest that i do candle magic he gave me absolution and told me not to do it again-- yet yous talk of mixing wicca with christianity...........i bought a christian voodoo candle-- i talked to my pastor about it he recommended not using it....... christian witches confess to your priests and pastors like i have and see what they say to you if you got the nerve as i did.
I was raised Catholic but now practice magik. I have been for a few years. I pretty much dropped my belief in Christ but I do go to church sometimes, do the sign of the cross whenever I pass a graveyard, and celebrate Christian holidays. I just thought I was hanging on to my past. That or I was just acting odd. I never knew there could be a name for it. To me though it does sound kind of contradictory...
I have been a chritian my whole life. My dad is even a priest. And in the bible it says you are to follow god and only god or you will go to hell so if you practice magic you are not considered a chritian

My path is supported by the Original Douay Rheims and King James Bible. Higher intuition is the energy within every life form. Such as psychic awareness. The work of Jesus Christ begins before the temptation of sin and after sin takes place. Those that truly follow Jesus, must abstain from mortal negative actions and words while helping others who are lost, find their way home to a more spiritual existence. These are the true teachings of Jesus Christ.
John 4:23: A time is coming and has now come, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
"The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, you must be born again. The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.....Jesus Christ (John 6 :63 and 3:6 NIV)
If you follow magic you are indeed following God. One man's sin cannot be another man's holy ground. God is not exclusive, God is both woman and man, child and adult, animal and mineral. Vegetation and land and water. God loves all creation equally and unconditionally.
I am a Christian Wiccan myself, so I agree with you. I say it depends on your viewpoint. I see Christianity as a relationship with the Triune God and Wicca as a lifestyle which honors nature, practices white magick and seeks wisdom and beauty in everything and everyone
Not that anyone cares what im posting about however, your entitled to do what you want. A Christian will tell you an answer like you can not serve two masters. But what defines a witch really? The spells we cast, the gods we worship? Who really knows. Our worship gives our masters their immortailty. If you want to give your praise to Jehova do it, if you want to give it too all gods then do it. Do what ye will as long as it harms none is this not the wiccan way?
