Oh and my first burning container was a large metal coffee tin. They work great and when they're getting too beat up, you can get another one. Just save up your coffee tins and you'll have an unlimited supply. They're deep so a small piece of paper has no chance of escape.
I've got 6 water signs in my chart and five fire signs in my chart. As well as one Earth sign. Yet I'm terrified of fire. But I think I figured out why I love water so much! Thank you!
Having a planet in something doesn't necessarily mean you have a good connection with it. Each planet reacts differently in the signs, so some sign/planet combinations are good while others are... challenging. It may be that the things you have in fire signs aren't real comfortable, making fire a sort of problematic part of your life.
There's also the fact that the elements are largely metaphorical. Elemental Fire is not the same thing as candles and matches.
Of course can't you be more in tune with your moon sign than with your sun sign? I was reading over my moon sign, which is Gemini, and it rings more true to me than my Sagittarius sign. I mean yes, I have some Sagittarius traits but it seems that I'm more attune to my Gemini side.
Yes, a person can have certain planets or signs they are more attuned with or have a healthier relationship with.
There is also a system of hierarchy that can be established within a chart that keeps track of rulership. Each sign has a planet which "rules" over it and you can use this to chart dominance and planetary influence; Leo is a solar sign and so all planets you have in Leo are considered to be ruled by the sun in your chart.
Despite having a lot of fire in my chart (Sun, Venus, Saturn, Mars, Uranus, and Ascendant), and I only have a little water (Jupiter, Mercury, Pluto) I'm actually a fairly watery person because my entire chart is ruled by Jupiter in Pisces.
I would take a big bowl, fill it about a quarter to a third of the way with water, put the little bowl in the big bowl and burn whatever you need to burn inside the little bowl. That way it would be pretty safe and if the fire does get out of hand, you have water right there.
I would also suggest putting the bowl in the sink since that way there's nothing around to catch on fire and you can just turn on the tap to put the fire out.
hey my theory on that would be eighther get a larger bowl, i just use a big glass bowl and i dont recamende using a full sheet of paper just use a peice of the sheet of paper iv studied fire magic even though my astrological element is water but iv always felt closer to the fire element.
