I think your just showing a lack of maturity in your throw the dummy out of the pram answer. People have advised you well. Most people would advise you not to do this as it's dangerus so If you do it, not come crying to anyone as you've been warned!
By: KoKoEFFiiONG "Why shouldn't I do it? If I learn how to do the ritual properly, how to take the proper precautions, what to do and what not to do then it would be fine right? That's just what anyone does who has knowledge and years of experience so if I just do exactly what they do surely the results would be the same wouldnt it? "

There are times in life, especially when younger, that one thinks that doing something just because you have the capacity to do something means that it's okay to do it. Are you such a person?
Your comment lacks a certain degree of perspective. For instance, "surely the results would be the same." No two workings are ever the same. You do not have the same experience as the person who wrote the instructions which you've found, with evocation or even with that particular entity. Each is different. Even then, you wouldn't have the same experience as you would the second or third time you perform the ritual.
There is also the perspective of understanding exactly what an evocation is. You're requesting, the key word is requesting, the assistance of an entity for a specific task. That's the ideal. What reason does the entity have to aid you? Would you be more likely to get aid from a stranger or someone who you've built a relationship with? Would you be more likely to get aid from someone to help with improving your mother's non-treatable cancer or winning over a girl you're infatuated with? The examples can go on.
People that do things just because the capacity to do them is there lack such perspectives. The perspective for them is centered in the ego view. They are their own star in the reality show that is their life. They don't see that every actor has a life outside their show.
Those being evoked do have lives outside the evocation. You're pulling their attention away from it. Is it for a very good reason? Would they think it is? How would they react for being desturbed due to lack of knowledge of the situation you're finidng yourself in? They have different values and norms than our current society.
If you are posting here asking about it, you are not ready to do it. As I have said many times before, when you are ready you wont have to ask how to do it.
Goetic evocation, and really any evocation and invocation, can open you to more primal forces than you deal with normally. Or, maybe open deeper, primal layers of your subconscious. Same thing, either way. Part of the training that you do for years before is making sure that you are emotionally, psychologically and spiritually able to deal with what you are sticking your nose into. And how do you deal with something that doesn't agree to follow the rules? It laughs at your banishings? It's much more than just memorizing a ritual and then trying it.
You need to focus on the basics: meditation, energy exercises and basic ritual, in that order of importance. In orders like the G.D., you would spend at least 4 years doing these basics, as well as learning other materials, before you tried anything like that. And, when you did, there would be a more knowledgeable mentor there with you when you do to save your rear when things go bad.
Some people are going to disagree with me. That is fine. You can make your own decission. The danger of doing these things before you are readi is real.
I actually agree with TiredofGags completely. The Keys are advanced magick. Ceremonial magick is hard core. You really should know someone IN PERSON that can guide you and help you out if things go wrong. And you need to do tons of research before even considering to touch it. Some people jump right into evocation, but through modern systems like NAP first, which is, in my opinion, childsplay comparitively. Many will agree, however, that you need years of experience as a magick practioner before attempting any such efforts. But if you are going to advance forward despite the warnings, go with a modern system that explains its rituals and procedures in plain english. This is the only time you will ever see me promote modern magick literature! =p
The Keys are INCOMPLETE. It is not meant as a complete instruction manual, more like guidelines. This is why extensive research is very necessary. It is written from an adepts point of view to other adepts, assuming they already have the same knowledge and experience as the author.
Goetic spirits are like no other. And if you're inexperienced, all you will do is offend them by calling them. My husband has had to get involved many times when inexperienced magicians or witches summoned something they couldn't handle and ran to him for help. He is a ceremonial magician, I usually work as his seer (I'm the medium if it doesn't manifest enough). I personally don't use such systems often, my style is much more shamanic.
Well my answer clearly wasn't 'throwing a dummy out the pram' as it wasn't angry or confrontational at all it was simply a question and it does make sense, surely if I followed a ritual exactly as anyone else follows the ritual then it would be fine? It surely doesn't take 20 years to learn what to do and what not to do when summoning these things. Once you know, you know, right? And everyone has to do it a first time? I hate how like EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON HERE is so determined to be patronising and start an argument for absolutely no reason, do you all just LOVE thinking you know more about these topics than beginners so therefore you're much 'better' than beginners? LOL get off your high horses seriously. 'There are times particularly when you're younger..' Oh honestly could you get more condescending if you tried. I'm sick to death of getting ganged up on for asking questions, then people turning them into arguments. All I asked for was HOW to do these things, and if anyone has any experiences.. Not for people's humble opinions on whether I should do it or not. You don't know how desperate I am. Tbh I don't even care if I end up dead. At least Id have died trying to achieve what I need.
Hey, go for it. Maybe you will get it right. Maybe you will just become a sociopath. Maybe you will die. Or, you can listen to someone who has done it before and you can be successful. It takes more than just learning a ritual.
It isn't as easy as following directions. And the goetic directions are too vague to fully understand through the Keys alone. Not to mention, you have to understand the symbolism behind the system you are using. You also need to be confidant and able to handle any possible reaction of the spirit (and many WILL test you).
My husband's acquaintance decided to pick up the Keys and summon an angel. He thought this would mean it would be benevolent. Oh, how foolish! The being walked straight out of the triangle and the guy freaked out. The being proceeded to make this man feel threatened and fearful where ever he went for weeks, until he came to my husband and literally begged him to make it stop. He swore he did everything the right way. The fact of the matter is, its a lot more to it than following directions!
So go ahead. We are just all crazy arrogant egotists right? When you begin feeling your mental and emotional stability crack....when you become haunted by something you can't get rid of....when your life begins to crumble around you--all because you wanted to summon something beyond your abilities
don't come to us asking for help.
It takes a lot of investment - time, energy, dedication to accomplish summoning Goetic entities. You need to study the medieval grimoires, and books on ceremonial magic and evocation. You must be very balanced and unafraid. To command something like that you require divine authority.
If a genuine interest in ceremonial magick is your path, then 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'. I would suggest joining an order such as GD, OTO, and to be formally guided through this process. To make an informed choice about your path, have a look through the recommended reading lists on the GD/OTO websites. And start with the Lesser banishing ritual of the pentagram - its the first thing to come to terms with.
I wish you much success on your journey, whatever your path may be
tiredofgags is right.. sadly ive been through hard stuff in my life for sadly memorizing instructions.. sadly, after 10 years is still think about it .. and the danger it might bring is 1 thing only not death but torture of the human experience.
