Um, hello? I first found the site and made a post about it. Why do we need more separate posts about it? Why can't we just keep it on the original one? It's just like the War that people are talking about. There are so many threads, so just keep it in the same one instead of just making new ones.
Allow me to explain why this disgusts me. My grandmother is a diehard Southern Baptist who goes to a small country church which has recently discovered the internet as a means of community awarness (by recently I mean within the last 12 months). Now if their preacher had seen that site he would belive it and in turn put a link to it in their site. Every member of that church who already have a bad idea about witches, wiccans, and various other religions would be on the lookout for what the site says. Its the fact that someone whould put something like that on the internet for every religious freak in the world to read. Because there are people who will believe this nonsense.

As I am sure you are well aware, there are worse sites out there that bash those of any faith other than christian. (Not even to begin on a racial topic) And it's a fight we can only win by being true to ourselves and showing others through our words and actions that we are not as some portray us to be.
I can relate to your concern in regards to your grandmother. My boyfriend and coven High Priest, Dragonrider comes from an extremely christian family. And it's a big family. I still have not yet met his mother and father, sisters and brothers, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins, as this town is filled with his christian family and out of I guess protection from him, he's kept me clear from them. I know that if they themselves visited this site we are here discussing, they would be in line buying out the Wiccan Hunting Permits.

I myself would like a few of those permits as I personally find many wiccans to be full of nothing but peace, love, and chicken grease and more like hippies than pagans.
Point being, I agree with your concerns. I also appreciate you posting your concern so that others can relate and help educate others as to who we really truly are in our chosen path.

I just have to say that I have know about the Landovers for quiet some time. A few years ago I read on a news page about them treeing a witch and almost pissed my pants! LOL I believe that even the most devout christians would see that the information on this site is a joke. Many would be offened at the way christians are portrayed. I don't think we really need to worry about them harming our reputation. We need to worry about the way we portray ourselves to the public.
Hummmm, maybe we should be a little more intune to our public forums and all. We don't really know who is watching us, do we?
That site is e'ffing CRZAY! Who in their own right mine would believe in any of that??? Wow... I feel sorry for the person who started that site... lol
