I read somewhere on this site that there are spells to enhance your magickal power...I'm sort of a beginner and I'd like to gain as much power as possible by practiseing with these spells. Can anybody help me?
Power can only be gained through practice. Every time you break your limits you'll come back stronger. So just use your regular spells and push yourself to the limit. After awhile you will find that you have gained a lot. Think of magick more as a muscle; you can't go from having a max lifting weight of 10 lbs. to 200 lbs. in one day. It takes time to build your strength to that level, the same is so with magick.
Zeemo's right. U can't go fron like having a max of 10 to 200 overnight it takes time and effort.healer is also right pick a subject. To give a example a year ago I could barely call a storm. These days im calling then from anthor state. Which is slightly dangerous
Thank you for your advice. Yes I agree knowledge is key and patience is a virtue, but I'm curious...are there any spells that can give me that extra boost. I'm going to practise regardless, but practising with spells that enable me to hold more power I feel would benefit me on a higher level. Are there on this site?
I'm aware there are probubly risks, but I'd never put myself in harms way otherwise what's the point. If the risks out weigh the benefits I'll avoid it. It's not like I'm looking for anything to extreme I mearly want something that will give me an extra boost without tearing me to shreds. I always allow common sense to guide me. Thank you healer I know your only watching out for me.
When you say it like that, "magical powers" it sounds way sci-fi.
Anyhow, there's not a quicker, easier way. And the "powers", are just a benefit of the growth. And the growth(and I don't mean the growth of you powers here) should be your intent. The growth of the self. First empower yourself with knowledge. Then practice what you know. Then know what empowerment really means. Then practice what you know some more. It can be a trying walk, and at times, your patience may even wear thin...part of life no matter what walk you choose. Some of us have been working for years to gain what we have, and I guarantee you not one of us found an easy way about it. I am still learning, and still growing, and I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be doing just that until I shed this skin.
If I thought there was a spell to give me more "magical power", I would throw it out and disregard it. The easy way, I fear, would spark greed in myself. It is something that, for good reason, is only readily accessible to those who are dilligent in seeking it.
Yes, it would seem this way, but if you go to the tips page on this site and look at tip 5 it clearly states that there are many spells and rituals that will enhance ones powers, but even with these spells I wouldn't stop meditating or doing anything that aids my self-growth or spiritual growth as many put it. These spells are just boosts not replacments in any way.
I can't give you an exact spell because everyone is different for these sorts of things. What I use to empower myself might not help you at all. As a generality, try drawing in more power from your surroundings. So if you are near water, draw from it and add it to your own personal energy. You'll find that different elements, emotions, etc. can be used as additional "fuel" and eventually you will be able to solely rely on just external sources rather than your own energy. Once you can do this, you in theory would have unlimited potential as long as you could hold concentration. Just keep working, and remember that there are no shortcuts to these things. Shortcuts could lead to you missing some vital personal growth or cause you to lust for ever more power. Always be cautious with these things, they can overwhelm you quicker than you think.
