Astral Plain

I've heard this all over the site and I haven't found any spells or articles about it. What IS the astral plain? Is it a dream dimension? How do I get there?

SOme belive its the next plain//that one after death.....its hard to get there you usually do it in your sleep tohugh

i think its the plane which connects our own with all the other planes, theres not much there but from there you can access most other planes. you can get there either in dreams or by a form of meditation, but it requires a lot of practice plus i've heard it can be quite dangerous. Hope that helps you in some way, plus if i've got it wrong could some one plesae put me right thanks. :)

i always have visions of the astral plain. it isnt really that hard to do there. its just difficult to do when you want to, i do it all the time. but i never fully go to it. it is a separation of the astral body from the physical. i usually peek my head in and see what our spirits have made. we all have a special place in he astral plain. im even doing it now. we all carve it out by our spiritual growth. although some not so much how we planned. a friend of a friend told my friend of his place and that it was a barren wasteland and it was a forest of dead bodies and there wee creatures there that were very horrible and i think were the spirits of unborn children i could be wrong. i went there for myself. dont ask how. i saw it there. and it was indeed as horrible as his friend had described. i had helped him make a sanctuary adn im not going to deep into it...

hey immortalkyle how do you make it into a sanctury, because i used to be able to go into the astral plane and others all the time and pretty much when i wanted to but now i cant seem to control it and when i find myself daydreaming i can slip into what i think to be another plane, possibly the astral plane and its a truely horrid place, like a dark place with shadows and it smells of like rotten eggs, occasionally there are other what look like people at first then as i get clser its just like a hollow escence of spirits, or what i think them to be any advice on how to either control it or make it a sanctury as you described would be much appreciated.

Alright let me explain something, the astral plane also called super concious, and it is what connects every thing together. It is a vast plane that people can get to. People can do much more than on the physical plane. Next the subconcious, which is what you are all are talking about, is also called the personal plane. It is a plane that connects your mind body and soul. Here you can do more than the physical as well. Here has symbols people creatures anything that is you. You enter your subconcious in your dreams usually when your sleeping but those who are more "powerful" I guess you can say can reach it while awake. The subconcious can be a very useful tool in self discovery. It can answer your problems or questions. Also this is your personal plane that you control....as a "king" you can say again. Anybody ever heared astral projection? Its not something advance. Any human can due it. (I'm not sure about animals) and the astral plane isn't exactly a small place as far as I explored it there's more than the eye can see. oh hey for the person who found the horror uve found the lower astral plane. That sorta stuff is common.

well its impossible to control it really. i guess you dont but you become one with it and i guess your energy becomes more nurtured which nurtures the plain itself. making it kind of like a garden to flourish. i really dont know what i am talking about but it just a feeling that i get.

so what you guys are saying is that theres different plains but the main plain is the garden looking one? is there anyone to find other projectors in the atral plain?
