Spell problem

I cast my circle of protection using sea salt and white candle. My familiar was present. I tripped as I walked away from my alter...I feel the protection but could there be a negative force?

Tripping as you walked away from you alter can mean different things. It depends on what you where doing right before you walked away from your alter. It could be that you walked away too soon, like you may have needed to do something else or observe something. It could mean that the gods wanted you on your knees. It could mean that there was something on the ground you were suppose to find and pick up. It could mean you offended the gods with what you were doing. It could mean that you lost concentration. Or it means you just need to be more careful, but the list can go on and on.

Let me ask you why do you think you tripped? I would meditate on it to find the answer.
