My friend has six cats that must leave her home on Monday.
Five of them are kittens, two females, one white and one yellow
three males, one tiger-like, one yellow and one almost pink
and their white mother with golden eyes.
If they don't find new homes till Monday, they will be put in the bag, tied and tossed into a river.
you can put ads on craigslist for free and I know some newspapers if your giving animals away for free don't charge. Check some of those sites out. I'd take one but I live to far away.
That is the thing - I did everything else to help her. I am out of ideas.
I asked all my friends if they want a cat, we put fliers together during three days I spent with her, I put on the internet, we wrote to ORKA, animal adoption organization, but they said that kittens are too far away. We did not write to the animal newspaper but even if we did it, it would be too late - it comes out once a month. She lives in a small village and had originally some folk willing to adopt, however, they never called back. They ALL gave up. People there are not fond of cats at all. They usually drown them or stone them.
We have done all we thought of. That is why I am thinking about a spell.
It did bring up a great spell idea, though, and so i decided to post a pet-adoption spell of my own creation in case anyone else was in need;

To Find a Wonderful Home for a Pet that Needs Adoption
You'll need:
a pen
a piece of paper
a magnet or Lodestone
Magnet Oil or Lodestone Oil
a photo of the pet
some of the pet's hair
the pet itself (not necessary but nice)
The job:
Create a work area with a writing surface, and decorate it with photos of your pet plus anything else that seems appropriate and relevant to you. Invite the pet in need of adoption into the area with you if you're able.
On the piece of paper, write out a list of all the qualities the perfect adoptive pet parent will possess. Write this out free-form or as a list. Be specific. This can include stuff like: "Will be home often; will take Fido on long, daily walks; is financially stable; has a big yard; has another dog for Fido to play with," etc.
Take the magnet/Lodestone and anoint it with Magnet Oil or Lodestone Oil. While you do so, read out the list of qualities with great feeling, praying if you desire, and visualizing a happy outcome for the pet. St. Francis is a saint who looks after animals if you chose to petition him. Before you finish working with the magnet/Lodestone, say something like this, again with great feeling, "Little Magnet/Lodestone, as I honor you, may you honor my request: Draw in a new owner for (pet's name). May this person be magnetically attracted to (pet's name), and may they live together happily every after." You can also incorporate this petition throughout the entire time you pray/visualize.
When done, fold the list of qualities around the magnet. First, place the magnet in the middle of the piece of paper, adding the pet hair on top of the magnet, with the writing side on the inside. Completely enclose the magnet and the pet hair inside the list. making a little paper packet. Be sure to fold the paper always towards you.
Take this little magnet/paper packet and hold it in your hand as you give the pet lots of attention, petting and scratching him or her. Pray over the pet as you do so, and be sure to rub the magnet packet over the pet's body from head to toe. Visualize and intend that you are magnetizing this pet so that its perfect owner will be drawn to her or him. When it feels right, stop.
Take the magnet packet and place it on top of a photo of the pet. Keep this packet on the photograph until the new owner materializes. Pray over the pet and also the photograph with the magnet packet daily. Visualize the new owner being magnetically drawn to the pet. You can repeat rubbing the pet with the magnet packet as often as you like. You may also wish to use scant amounts of Magnet Oil or Lodestone Oil and dress the pet *very lightly* with it. You may also add a touch of the oil to the pet's photo.
If you do not have physical access to the pet, proceed as directed except obviously skip the part about rubbing and scratching the pet. Be sure to keep the magnet packet on top of the pet's photograph and spend time over it daily.
Oh Thank you Lord Gray! I was just going nuts here reading the first posts. I am so glad you found them homes. Knowing that cats are treated in such a way just makes me crazy. I will send the cats in that region all the protection I can.
I wonder what types of animal rights folks are in that region.
