Thanks for the video, it really is a great video

Now just a few minor points, our DNA is not the same as a tree, otherwise we'd be trees lol

Theres only one dominant unit technically because thats the meaning of the word dominant although i get their point

I think the camera people should have a mention because thats some really great film

Deoxyribonucleic acid contains the genetic code for all known living organisms and some viruses. There are only four bases found within it and they are the same for all things which contain it. Theses bases are adenine, cytosine, guanine, and thymine; they are abbreviated A, C, G, and T. Now theses bases attach only in pairs, A to G and C to T. As the pairs link and stack in the sequence to form the double helix they draw the blue print to an organism. The code can then be broken into sections which are referred to chromosomes.

Now here is what the man was referring to; we share the same basic make up with all living organisms besides a few viruses. They only difference is how long the sequence is and how complex. Each person has a different sequence unless you are an identical twin, triplet, quadruplet, etc. As for other species keep in mind humans have ~5% genetic distance with chimpanzees, this means 95% is the same. Now for a human and a tree it will be much greater but we still have the same bases making up our genetic codes. This the the point that the wise man was trying to make which you completely missed.

Yes thank you I was writing from memory and it has been a long time. It is A to only T and C to only G. At least I remembered the gist of it.

kts, that was meant as a joke, i am aware of both the DNA bases and their mRNA equivalents, I can also explain if you like why they bnd only in those pairs, how they are formed and their role in all aspects of lfe and figured out what he meant i justfound the literal meaning funny was all.
